Very tasty breakfast - we ordered the sweet corn fritters, seasonal fruit salad and the potato and onion rosti. Service was great too

My husband and I reserved a table here for two for our anniversary. It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL restaurant, with several options for main dishes, sides and drinks. We didn’t stay at the manor, but we did have a special dessert provided since we listed that it was our anniversary on the reservation. I ordered halibut and my husband ordered the steak filet, which was more brown than he usually eats but it was flavorful and moist. They had a good list of non-alcoholic drinks as well as alcohol. We also got to wonder the grounds following dinner, and they are beautiful. My advice is to make a reservation specifically if you are eating at or after 6:30 PM.

The food was beautiful and the service was excellent. The waitresses were really good with my mother who was in a wheelchair.

Had a nice lunch followed by a tour of the grounds in the horse drawn carriage. Lovely place, great food, lovely chips although a little expensive for the common folk such as ourselves. Good size portions though, perhaps even a little too large for a lunch. Didn't feel like the waiter serving us was very experienced as he seemed to have some difficulty taking our orders and then turned up with an incorrect drink which was subsequently replaced with the correct drink. Found sticky fingerprints on one of the glasses set on our table.We also ordered steak sandwiches to be medium rare but both showed up rare which was a bit of a big mistake for such a upmarket place. We didn't return them and just tried to eat them as we felt it would have been a lot of faff considering they were in sandwiches with sauces etc. Slightly surprised to experience these mistakes in such a setting and at these prices especially when we were the only customers at that time. Overall though, a very nice place and experience.

Ok this is review of restaurant not hotel. Loved the experience, went with three friends and food, service and ambience was excellent. Will be back again at some stage, not cheap, so keep it for special occasion

Cannot fault the quality of service. It is very detailed and lives up to expectation for the prices you pay. I will be back and would recommend.

Fantastic spot. We don't come here often enough. Amazing service, food is amazing. Cannot recommend enough. Staff are so polite and helpful. Love coming to the carriage house.

Lovely waitress. Menu is standard without any 'wow' factor and that proves correct when the plates arrive. Our salad lacked finesse but it was fresh and really good. We didn't leave hungry.
