We had the most lovely stay at Carrygerry. The house and location are just beautiful, and the staff were all so kind, warm, and friendly. Everything was very clean, and the FOOD - absolutely delicious! The strawberry jam made in house was so delicious, I had to bring a jar home (they also sell their own jams and chutneys!). We were in the Orchard room, and the bed was very comfy. The en suite bathroom was very clean and included some small toiletries. There were also radiators in both the bathroom and bedroom in case you needed some warmth, as well as a courtesy hairdryer, tabletop fan, and alarm clock. I loved all the old charm in the decor, and everything seemed lovingly maintained. Would absolutely recommend and I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ireland!

Beautiful views considering proximity to everything. In need of some maintenance: out of date info in printouts, faucets that require muscle to shut off, that sort of thing. When you consider the age of the facility, it's in good shape overall. In general, a positive experience and a good value for the money.

28/04/2025: Called in to this lovely establishment yesterday on our way feom clones after a match with my husband ,feom the minute we stept in the door we were greeted by a lovely young girl who sorted a table along with (I think the proipiter) we were taken to a function room placed at a lovely table brought drinks and ordered our food. The food wasn't long till it was in front of us and it was an amazing dish I had chicken and crem mushroom sauce accompanied with mash and veg 10/10 my hubby had roast beef dinner mash and veg and he said it was deliciious. Also 10/10 not a bit left behind .all the tables around us were the same all complementary to there dishes .. I would recommend here for anyone travelling the roads to or from dublin or where ever Thank you guys Geraldine and Pat walsh Donegal

Swan's Bar

22/05/2025: Wife and I held our day 2 Wedding Celebrations here. Paddy Swan and his staff really really looked after us! Staff taken our floral arrangements, vases etc and laid them on tables for us. They then safely stored them for us to collect the next day. Really nice touch. Pints are fantastic and the craic with the locals was brilliant. The setting and atmosphere of this place is superb and it all added to what was a fantastic experience for us and our extended families and friends. All of whom held the pub in the highest regards. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of any sort of function in the future, or even just to drop in for a pint! I would like to extend my gratitude to Swan's Bar again for how well they looked after us! A day to remember!
19/05/2025: We had staff night out that I had to organise and the owner, Patrick, couldn’t be more helpful, he helped organise catering, the room was lovely with a very cosy atmosphere created by an amazing staff. It was my first time there and I would definitely recommend, what a hidden gem is this pub. Staff are incredible, so friendly, we really felt very welcome there.
