Carrygerry Country House in

I feel like I was captured by the faeries and set down in a romantic Merchant Ivory film! I tooled around the West with friends for 9 days. They left, and I stayed here for two magical days. Everything - the hospitality of the house, the history, its surroundings. The stillness is just phenomenal. I think I’m just going to have to write some poetry when I get home! ☘️

A quiet location in the beautiful country away from the hussle and busy of busy daily life. Fabulous food and friendly professional staff. Dietary requirements are not an issue.

Stayed here one night and wished it had been more! Beautiful house in lovely countryside with the most amazing kind and helpful staff. The woman who assisted us most whose name I sadly do not recall was most wonderful in her care of my daughter and I! Would love to come back!

My family and I stayed one night at Carrygerry Country House in Shannon, County Clare, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality made us feel comfortable right away and added a very personal touch to our stay. The location of Carrygerry Country House is absolutely marvelous. Nestled in a peaceful countryside setting, it is surrounded by gentle mountains and beautiful greenery. The views from the property are stunning and create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to such scenic surroundings was a real pleasure and made our short stay feel very refreshing. The house itself is full of charm and character, offering the elegance of a traditional country home while still providing modern comfort. Our room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy a very restful night. The quiet environment made it ideal for families looking to relax away from busy city life. Another great highlight is that the property has its own restaurant and bar inside, which is very convenient. The restaurant offers a lovely dining experience in a cozy and welcoming setting, and the bar is perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evening without having to go anywhere else. Overall, our stay at Carrygerry Country House was excellent. With its beautiful location, stunning views, friendly staff, and on-site restaurant and bar, it is a place we would happily return to. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Shannon area.

We went there for our new year - anniversary getaway and this wee place was so lovely, and amazing. The country house gives you warm homely authentic irish vibes of old times and the hosts were really welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there with the warm and cozy fireplace and atmosphere even in the cold winter chills. The location was perfect and not too crowded. A lovely little village nearby to visit. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting limerick, cliffs of moher or Shannon and nearby .

The cutest place ever. Couldn’t imagine spending my last night anywhere else. I think the pictures say it all. Staff was so sweet. And fireplace was so cozy.

Myself and my husband had a lovely time at this Country House. It's a beautiful location, can go for walks, Ennis is close by, as is Shannon. The restaurant is amazing!! I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you are anywhere near, you should go and treat yourself to dinner, they use locally sourced products and everything we tried was delicious. We will definitely be back.
