Castle Leslie Estate in Glasslough

We just finished our trip, and we all agreed that, of all the places we visited—Paris, Amsterdam, and Ireland—Castle Leslie was the highlight. Every detail of the estate felt intentional and personal. The attention to detail was extraordinary, and the interior design throughout the property was incredible. We stayed in the Mews, while my parents stayed in the Lodge. The thoughtful breakfast basket each morning, filled with fresh Irish bread, homemade jams, fruit, and other treats, was such a wonderful touch. Our cottage was fully equipped with a washer and dryer and every appliance we needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. Dinner at Snaffles and afternoon tea were both absolutely perfect. The staff were incredible—warm, attentive, and clearly worked tirelessly to make every guest feel welcome. This was our first visit, and next time we'll be sure to book the falconry, archery, and horseback riding well in advance. One tip for future visitors: check the wedding schedule before you book to make sure the castle will be open during your stay. We especially loved walking home to the Mews after dinner each evening and taking our daily walks around the lake. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Castle Leslie for making our stay so memorable. Your warmth, hospitality, and attention to every detail made this a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return in the future.

An absolute joy staying here. The staff is all so incredibly kind, the Lodge, Castle and grounds are all stunning. And the bar had some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.

This is a review for their equestrian center. I had a lovely gallop around the grounds of Leslie Castle. My guide Owen was knowledgeable and helpful without being overly cautious. It was an enjoyable few hours and I recommend fully.

We had our wedding at Castle Leslie and it was truly wonderful. The entire property is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, helpful, and kind throughout our stay and wedding day. We want to give a special shoutout to Roisin, who made the planning process so much less stressful. She was helpful, organized, and easy to work with. Another special thank you goes to Shannon, who was incredible on the wedding day itself. She was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, that we had everything we needed, and that the day was running smoothly. Having her there helped smooth out the hectic parts of the day and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy it. We are so grateful to everyone at Castle Leslie for helping make our wedding experience so special. It was a beautiful place to celebrate, and we could not recommend it more highly.

Large estate with woods, lakes, marshes, a riding stable and ancient buildings that, however, cannot be visited.

This was the first place we stayed at on our Ireland adventure and they set the bar VERY high. I highly recommend them! The beds were the most comfortable on our whole trip. The room was beautifully appointed with extra touches, like the fresh mini-muffins that were delicious. They also had our favorite breakfast, of all the places we stayed. My mom is STILL raving about their porridge and will be trying to get their recipe! Be sure to walk the grounds and enjoy the town right outside the main entrance! The beauty and quaint charm of this place is hard to overstate! Well done to the entire staff and, hopefully, we'll come again!
