Castleknock Hotel in Dublin

Went for a day spa with lunch. Absolutely fabulous

All I can say is what a hotel, from the rooms , the food the staff 10/10

We've been providing chocolate fountains, candy carts, and photo booths at Castleknock Hotel for years, and Ciara, Leone, and the entire team consistently go above and beyond. They make our setup effortless — always ensuring we have the space and power we need exactly where we need it. What sets them apart is how they anticipate what vendors need before we even ask. The coordination between their staff and ours is flawless, which means couples get to focus on enjoying their day instead of worrying about logistics. Every wedding here feels special because the team genuinely cares about making each couple's vision come to life. We've watched countless couples light up when they see how smoothly everything flows — from our Tayto packs (always a hit!) to the photos at our photo booth. If you're a couple looking for a venue where everything just works, or a vendor wondering about working here — this place and this team make magic happen.

Excellent hotel. Only the location to Dublin city center (about an hour by public transport) could be better.

20-30 min from Dublin Airport depending on traffic. Castleknock Hotel is in a quiet residential area outside of central Dublin. There is a bus stop ten min walk away and you can hop on the number 37 to whisk you away to central Dublin (Temple Bar, Liffey River). Note the bus does not take cash or card so you need to download the app for bus transport in Dublin called Leep. Otherwise you’re looking at 30-40 Euros. We had a problem with our toilet as soon as we checked in which staff managed to sort. Reserve tables in restaurants as it gets very very busy.

Overall good for a stopover. Nice pool. Very good restaurant.

Brilliant Lication for Lunch and a few drinks. Service is excellent. Only issue we had Serving Guiness in Guiness 00 glasses and Guiness 00 in Guiness glasses other than this it's a great place.

Staff were exceptionally charming and always willing to help. Very comfortable bed. Lovely grounds. Easy to reach by public transport if you are travelling light. Nice spa and facilities. Excellent food at Earth and Vine.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel CastleKnock. The staff are delightful and so kind. The rooms are very comfortable as well. Special thanks to Tim at the front desk for being so helpful with everything. From suggestions of things to do and places to go, Tim was very informative and knowledgeable. The staff at 22 restaurant were great. The only small critique would be the showers in the rooms, which are very tight.
