Celtic Ross Hotel in

We enjoyed the stay and loved that a town square is a 10 walk up the hill. The food was good and room nice

Stayed for three nights. Travelling for a families 60th birthday celebration. The hotel were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was of a very high standard throughout our stay.

Had lunch here. Beautiful food, pleasant staff and very good value!

Bit of a mixture. Some staff are really friendly, tho others have no problem showing they just really don't want to be there. Nice hotel and clean , tho a little overpriced. Stayed here again as I was told it had went through a lot of changes. Disappointed again on so many levels. Tho the room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Staff were unhelpful,some honestly seemed to not know what they were doing and just didn't want to be there,which showed. Myself and my son had dinner. My son ordered a kids burrito, there was no rice in it at all. I asked one of the staff to ask the chef if he didn't have any rice left or if he just forgot to put it in. She never came back. There were other tables who also had a bad time. One woman was given the wrong dish. Another couple asked for their cocktail on four different occasions,always told 'its being made now' to the point the man had to go up to the bar and ask the barman again himself. The staff gathered around chatting,pointing out to customers and I could clearly see,they did not have a clue what to do about different situations. My son asked if there was a swimming pool,which we weren't told about at check in. We soon found out why. We went to see the swimming pool and my 9 year old son looked up at me and said "I don't think we will go for a swim here,I could swim as much in a bath." The swimming pool I so small. Next morning for breakfast was again so disappointing, no-one checking to keep stocked up. No water. A slice of watermelon for fruit,one type of cold meat,one type of cheese,one type of jam. The cooked breakfast was tiny. I did speak to the food and beverage manager about all the problems with food, he apologized,made an excuse that alot of the staff are young and don't really know and offered my son a coke float. Even he said no.

Room was nice, staff very friendly and breakfast great. Our only complaint was that it was a 30 minute wait for a fry for breakfast.

Stayed for 4 nights Great location with lovely views across the bay. Room was large and clean. Moden and fresh feel Hotelmis in good condition with lovely friendly staff Food and drink is top quality and the breakfasts are just amazing. Brilliant staff!

Fantastic hotel with great staff.

Last summer we stayed at this hotel, one of the most magnificent on the south coast of Ireland, wonderful welcome, meals worthy of us and the information requested was always accurate. Thank you Celtic Ross Hotel. If we go back to Ireland, we will definitely go to your place.

The room were a nice size (had a beautiful window view of the lake), the food was delicious, and the service was so welcoming and professional! The only negatives were that the lift/ elevator was broken, so we had to drag it heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs and down a long hallway.

Beautiful comfortable hotel. I will return again.
