Chai Yo in Dublin

We liked it even though it was quite busy.

Attended for a work Christmas lunch and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked in front of us. Lots of interaction from the chef and a singsong at the end. The restaurant opened early to accommodate us which was really appreciated by us country folk having to travel a distance! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend, especially for groups. Staff were so attentive and friendly.

My job staff party was there and what a perfect idea. The food, the atmosphere, the staffs, all perfect. I really recommend for everybody have that experience in Chai-yo. We were a big group but even with this the service was really good.

As part of a work night out, I visited Chai-Yo last night, and I have to say — it truly lives up to its claim of being Dublin’s most entertaining dining experience. It was a magical evening from start to finish. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was electric. The wait staff were some of the best I’ve ever encountered — attentive, friendly, and full of personality. We opted for the Teppanyaki experience, and the chef was nothing short of incredible. His showmanship and flair turned the meal into a truly surreal event. The staff even serenade diners with guitar and song, adding an unforgettable touch. Most of us went for the tasting menu, and every dish was delicious, prepared with only the highest-quality ingredients. My starter included prawn crackers, miso soup, Wagyu kushiyaki, and seasonal potatoes and vegetables. For the main course, I had duck, beef, and chicken, and I finished with a chocolate ice cream cake. Thank you to Chai-Yo for a fantastic night and great memories. To summarise my review All I can say is — GO HERE. You won’t regret it.

It's like a Theatrical show preparing your dinner. We had 18 family and friends with us and all saying they enjoyed the cooking and would definitely return.

We had the tasting set, and it was truly a full teppanyaki-style food experience. The chef cooked everything right in front of us, turning the meal into a real show. There was singing, dancing, and guests were even included in the performance, which made the night feel fun, interactive, and unforgettable. It’s not just about eating here, it’s about being part of the experience. 🍽️🔥🎶

I went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday with a group of friends and we just had the best time of our lives, omg what a experience. Lovely staff, amazing food and incredible vibe. Definitely coming back soon Highly recommended ❤️

This is possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to the food is incredible there is always loads of food so portions are very generous the fried riced is some of the best and the wagu steak is gorgeous. Now the main thing about this place is the atmosphere it is the most amazing/funny experience ever the staff are so good at what they do getting everyone involved from cooking with massive flames to throwing food around and a sing song at the end this place is definitely worth the money
