Chai Yo in Dublin

We had an amazing time here over Christmas with 12 friends. They were so accomadating for the group size and last minute changes. The service was amazing all the staff were so kind and helpful. The food was amazing and our Chef Lester made the whole experience fantastic and hilarious. Shout out to our waiter Zaldy who celebrated his birthday while we were there! Could not recommend this place more for a group!

Had an amazing time at Chai-Yo tonight. Chef Nico was the star of the night, his performance and the food were absolutely incredible. Big thanks to the staff for being so friendly! Highly recommend for a special night out!

Really fun time had by all - very good food and atmosphere is really what makes it.

It was our third time there,food was amazing,service exceptional It was our first time at the new tepanaki table downstairs,the chef was so funny.and singers amazing, Gets better every time It is so nice to look around the table and see everyone happy, smiling,laughing, clapping Thanks for the experience Can't wait to go back

Our group really enjoyed the teppanyaki dining. It was such a good laugh. The prices are reasonable too (41e for a tasting menu which basically means you get to taste duck, steak, chicken, prawn and seabass). We all got beers (6.90e for a small bottle of Sapporo) and starters (wagyu dumplings 12e and bao buns 9.5e). The food was tasty but not outrageous. It was the showmanship & entertainment that made it for us. Our group of 4 sat with a bigger group of 10. I'm not a massive fan of duck but I thought it was the best meat. The wagyu dumpling (similar to a steamed won ton) was delicious, but you don't need a starter if you aren't starving. The singing at the end was great craic. I would recommend the teppanyaki for a corporate event or friend/family group of up to 15.

Great spot for team night out. €41 for tasting menu. Portion was OK, however could have bit more tbh. Only got 4 overcooked prawns. Duck was tasty as was steak - good quality. Cocktails average, but lacking in alcohol i thought. Chef up for a laugh & little sing song at end was bit of laugh. Would recommend.

Such a magical first experience. Not only were we wowed with the food, but the laughs, and entertainment were stellar performance. The courteous stuff made sure everything was attended to at all times. Definitely would come again!

Brilliant craic very welcoming ..great food

Absolutely brilliant night with superb food! Service is excellent and the tappanyaki experience was interactive and absolutely outstanding. So much fun! Would definitely go again and highly recommend for anyone, families, friends, business contacts.
