Expensive, but the food and the service was truly worth every cent.
While dining in Londonderry i asked the chef for a recommendation in Dublin; he said to try Chapter One’s tasting menu. We visited in July 2022. As a tasting menu should be - it had great mixtures of fabulous textures and flavours in original pleasing visual displays. Identifying flavours and components of each is interesting to try and we had fun with guessing and asked for the comment review after each dish! Service was impeccable as well.

Comida interesante, gran carta de vinos, personal maravilloso que sabe lo que están allí para hacer.
Elementos sencillos de una visita a un restaurante sí... pero altos estándares, consistencia, imaginación y entrega impecable son lo que este restaurante logra.
Lo disfrutamos tanto cada año, que es un placer puro.

I have never eaten so well in my life. So creative. I nearly shed a tear. My tastebuds have never been challenged like that. The best 90 euro I've ever spent. I wish I had had enough room for the cheeses also. Till next time.

Chapter One is fabulous. One quickly realizes how it merited two stars from Michelin. From reception, to cocktails, thru dinner, everything was impeccable, including the service. Delicious foie gras creations, great lobster dish, and fabulous pigeon. By all means, you must finish with their famous Irish Coffee, prepared tableside. Awesome! This was right up there in our loosely formulated “Top Ten” Dinners ever, in the company of Auberge d’Ill, The Inn At Little Washington, Les Crayeres, etc. Some fine company. Nuf Ced! Highly recommend!
