I wrote a review here three years ago, and after living in Dublin for over six years, I’m back to say that Night Market is still comfortably the most authentic Thai food you will find in Ireland—and quite possibly in all of Europe. As a Thai native, I’m very picky. Most places offer a 'one-chef-fits-all' menu, but Night Market is different. They actually bring in chefs from the six major regions of Thailand, ensuring that every dish stays true to its roots. You aren't getting a generic version of Thai food here; you’re getting the real deal. The Khao Soi is a perfect example—it tastes exactly like what you’d find in a top-tier spot in Chiang Mai, and the portion is massive. Their Duck Red Curry is another masterpiece, rich and complex, honestly better than many high-end restaurants back in Thailand. My kids are obsessed with the Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) and sticky rice, which is always a sign of quality. And a pro-tip from a local: do not skip dessert. Their Brownie is incredibly rich and dense; it's hard to find anything like it elsewhere. The staff are excellent, the menu is well-structured, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Don't even try to compare this to your standard local takeaway; this is proper Thai culinary art. If you want the most authentic Thai experience in D6, this is the only place that matters. Still 5 stars, no questions asked!

Gorgeous food. We were a table of 16 and extremely loud, the service from Hannah was absolutely flawless. She couldn’t have done a better job. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We had a great time at Nightmarket last night – thank you to our wonderful waitress, Hannah! We were a group of 16, and she handled everything with great professionalism and friendliness. She carefully adhered to all dietary requirements and looked after us so well. 😌

The staff were lovely, portions were large, so small eaters may want to share and I enjoyed every bite even though I couldn't finish it all. Super flavourful and well made. Would happily come back!

The Lotts

14/05/2026: Been coming here for over 5 years always first place we pop in to Dec and Micheal top top guys see you again May 25 Gordon/Haz
09/05/2026: The Lotts is exactly the kind of Dublin pub many visitors hope to find but rarely do. From the outside alone, with its colourful red and green facade on the corner of Lower Liffey Street, it already feels like part of the city’s character. Inside, it combines traditional Irish pub atmosphere with a surprisingly spacious and modern restaurant area in the back. What makes the place special is the balance. It still feels authentic and local, but at the same time welcoming and easygoing for visitors. The pub is also known for its historic “snug”, one of the smallest traditional bar spaces in Dublin, which adds even more charm and history to the place. Food was genuinely very good for such a central pub location. Great steaks, proper Irish comfort food and a lively atmosphere without becoming overwhelming. Whether you stop for a Guinness, dinner or just to experience a classic Dublin pub, The Lotts absolutely delivers. One of the places that really stays in your memory after visiting the city.

Irish Whiskey Museum

17/05/2026: Read up well before you visit. It is a museum, not a distillery. There are a few rooms where you can hear and see the history of the origins of Irish whiskey. With fun animations. Presented with passion, but it is a pity that the hostess's English was sometimes difficult to understand (she was a Greek lady, sorry, I forgot her name). It ended nicely with a tasting.
16/05/2026: Great tour! Very informative and fun way to learn about Irish whiskey. Our tour guide, Daniel, was great!
