Charlemont Bar & Bistro, menu in Dublin

Had a delicious meal. 1 lunch, 1 dinner. Generous portions, for those who like that 😉. Polite and friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant.

This is our third stay at the Hilton in the last six months and not our first dinner at The Sixth Lock Bar & Restaurant, which is in the same building. The kitchen really does an excellent job. Tonight we enjoyed a genuinely beefy hamburger and the Apple Crumble Tart was superb. Service was on point (thank you Fabius, the custom made mocktail was lush). We ate in a ‘tucked away’ corner of the Bar area, which was just what we wanted for a quiet dinner. Air-con was on the cool side for our taste, but this is always subjective. fyi.

Restaurant attached to and part of the Hilton Hotel. Decent food, not outstanding, yet perfectly nice for a dinner. Music is disco / nightclub like and jars with the decor and what feels like it should be more chill.
