This is an excellent place if you are very very hungry!. The portions are very large and could easily be split between people..something I didn't know and ended up with far too much food...very reasonably priced.

Chequers has a great menu, pizza, pasta and loads of traditional dishes. Food was tasty and we really enjoyed it

09/04/2025: First experience with Supersubs. Tuna Melt and Healthy Vegetable Soup were amazing! Hidden behind the Supermac's and Papa John's signs, this sandwich shop is actually a gem. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is perfectly baked. Don't lose to SUBWAY! A must stop when visiting Portlaoise. Thank you Mary for the delicious sandwich! #Supersubs should be promoted more
