CHESTER BEATTY INN in Ashford

A brilliant family-run business with some of the nicest, friendliest staff you could possibly come across. The place is always spotless, welcoming and well looked after, and there’s a lovely atmosphere every time you walk through the door. A huge well done to Pádraig and Marie and all the team for the standard they keep. It’s also great to see the effort they put into the outside of the premises — it’s looking absolutely smashing and really adds to the appearance of Ashford village. It’s businesses like this, taking pride in their premises and their community, that make a village a better place. Great food, great people and a fantastic local business. Well worth supporting.

We had a meal here twice this year and it is definitely our go to place. Superb food lively busy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. We were delighted with our evenings on both occasions.

A meal to be savoured at around 20 euro. The restaurant serves classics like beef and Guinness pie, fish and chips, and Thai red curries. I had the leg of beef dish and It sumptuous. It operates on a walk-in-only basis with no reservations needed. Kids menu. The deserts are marvelous and delicious. You won't regret visiting this Inn .

2nd time staying here. This time with my family. Everything is awesome, super friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice amenities. So convenient having the restaurant below, so delicious and plenty of great options. Only thing I would wish is for is a little larger, smart TV in the room and to replace the pillows as with something a little bit softer. Will be back again. Love this place.

We ( two couples) stayed 3 nights at the CBI.We could not have had a better experience. The location is perfect for access to the Wicklow attractions and Wicklow town. The food and service were top rate.The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The true attraction was the atmosphere in the pub, restaurant and hotel. The staff and other patrons could not have been nicer and helpful. great place.

Myself and my wife stayed in the chester Beatty on Easter Saturday night On arrival we were met in reception by two very welcoming gentlemen. Check in took about one minute or less, asked if we needed to book table for food as the car park was fairly full, we were told there would be no problem just go in when ready. We went to our room which was absolutely spotless and warm. Food was wonderful, fast and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We had a couple of drinks later in the bar which were lovely aswell with bar staff were great. After a very good sleep we had breakfast which was perfect in every way. Definitely visit again.
