A beautiful well maintained place to visit with many different species of trees and plants from around the world.

Lovely relaxing garden, with beautiful old trees , and rhododendron worth a visit..some trees are over 100 years old. There's a red wood tree and a cork tree, the river Features as well..

Perfect little day out with mum or the girls!! A fabulous walk in the gardens followed by lunch in Avoca and a wander around the country stores.. heaven

These gardens are incredibly picturesque and a brilliant spot to walk around and spend an afternoon. Parking is usually fine,there’s a nice Avoca cafe & grocery and a couple of small shops in a courtyard at the entrance also. The gardens themselves have many routes you can take to walk around,a lovely fast paced river flows through the middle and even some bridges to explore. rare plants and flowers scattered around the gardens too. There is a small fee in but when you appreciate the upkeep of the gardens it’s totally worth it.

Great garden, easy to access and go around, even with a buggy ! The gardens are extremely well maintained with loads of benches to sit down and relax. It took us (with a buggy) 1h30 to do the recommended trail, including a break of 15min. Totally worth it :), especially if combined with a delicious meal at the restaurant in the village.

interesting and cozy walk Avoca offers a really deliciuos menu (the soup is well recommend), and the stores show a great variety of high quality of exclusive articles.
