China Garden in Navan (an uaimh)

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Navan. Very popular and busy. Very attentive staff. Option of eating on the ground floor or upstairs. White tablecloths. Food was tasty, but our curried chicken was only luke warm. The mixed platter as a starter was very nice. Nice choice of desserts, which is unusual for a Chinese restaurant. Plenty of options on the food and wine menus. We liked the French merlot @ 30 euro a bottle. The place was very busy when we were there, but very well managed. It is wise to book.

Got the chicken ball supper and for the first time in over 20yrs coming here I was disappointed. The chicken balls were disgusting the chicken was hard and dry and the batter looked re heated.

Simply amazing place with great food and fantastic staff

I visited this restaurant with three friends. The service was exceptional and they looked after us very well. The food was brought out quickly and was all very tasty. Recommend A++

This is a gorgeous Chinese restaurant in Navan. The food is excellent and great quality. The service is so welcoming and efficient. I can highly recommend the BBQ ribs, Satay chicken, and the salt chille chicken. My recommendation is to book in advance as the restaurant is always busy.

Ambient atmosphere. Superb service. The staff member was cautious and kind enough to warn us which items contains pork or not. We ended up ordering Ma La chicken: Get ready to flood your blocked nostrils and awaken your dead tastebuds, because it lives up to its menu name, SPIIICCCYYY Chicken and pineapple: Didn't really feel anything special, sweet dish. Chicken fried rice according to my son was a bit bland. Could have helped with a bit more flavour and ingredients when compared to the competitors

I absolutely love China Garden — it’s my go-to spot for Chinese food! I come here all the time, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and served hot. Michelle, the owner, is so lovely and welcoming every single time. She really takes care of her customers and makes the whole experience feel personal and warm. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, China Garden is always a solid choice. Highly recommend if you’re craving great Chinese food with a personal touch!

I'm ashamed to say it but I've lived in Navan my whole life and only last week was the first time I've ever had dinner in China Garden and wow!! The interior of the restaurant is absolutely stunning (so much so I had to take pictures) and the food is absolutely delicious, so so so tasty. The staff there were so lovely and friendly, it appeared most of them have been working there for many many years which just goes to show how well the business is ran. Special shout out to the staff that work in the takeaway section they've always been so lovely and friendly. I'd also like to note that I once rang at 10:50 (they close at 11) to chance ordering a takeaway and they took my order without hesitation and had it ready by 10:59! It's no wonder they've been in business since 1979 with standards and ethics like this! Would recommend to everyone and anyone 😄
