We dropped in this morning for a coffee and cake. I was interested to see if there were gluten free options for cake as I am a coeliac. They did have gluten free options, both savoury and sweet, which is great. I had a very tasty carrot cake, the portion size and price at under €5 were very good. I recently paid €7.10 for a slice of carrot cake in a cafe in Dublin, which I thought was crazy. The coffee was good, service was nice, especially when a member of staff came over to check if I was coeliac. I was impressed. 5 🌟

I always love going into Chocolate Brown on the odd occasion but recent visit was bad - asked for med hot chocolate drink and muffin - hot chocolate had marshmallows into which I didn't request it, but the drink was stone cold, the muffin was cold 🥶 - I was totally wasn't impressed - the staff don't seem to care - so 1 out of ten 😞

Tullamore Court Hotel

28/10/2024: I have been going to the Court Hotel most of my life & saw many changes that were all nice but the last changes I didn't like, the bar only opens for lunch, it used to open in the mornings for coffee, scones etc now there is a coffee dock where you could have to wait a long time to get served if it's busy because it's so small, there is no table service for the elderly, shame. The staff are young & lovely & last time I was there for lunch a most helpful lady called Ciara served us & came back a few times to see if we were ok, I will go back again but only if Ciara is serving.
01/10/2024: Staff at the Leisure Centre friendly, brilliant gym classes and family members enjoy the pool area.
