Exceptional, quite the opposite of what can be said about British food, including a tarte tatin recipe!! Ultra reasonable price and quantity. Chute doesn't say it too loudly, otherwise it will be full next time, but really very very good for us, the French too.

08/12/2025: The staff are extremely friendly, especially to people unfamiliar with Mexican food. The food itself is delicious, with a good variety of options. The portions are quite large, more than enough to leave you full. The atmosphere is lovely. The real standout is the patio area. Cozy and comfortable, with heating and plug sockets, the staff were more than comfortable with allowing guests to stay out, enjoy their food, and chat comfortably. Cannot recommend enough if you enjoy spicy food and are looking for a quiet place to stay and relax after a long day.

The Townhouse

07/02/2026: Stopped in for lunch (both coeliacs) and were both very impressed. Husband had the curry and I had the turkey and ham. The meals were hot, tasty and plentiful. Very impressed.
02/01/2026: Great spot in town for a lunch. Wait staff is so friendly, particularily Martina the lovely waitress that served us!
