Cinnamon Garden in Ashbourne

Beautiful restaurant. Amazing food presentation and taste. Nice cosy atmosphere and excellent service with very reasonable prices. One of the best Indian cuisines in Ireland

To be really honest this was my best Indian restraunt experience in Ireland. The food was outstanding and the owner himself came to recommend few dishes and also customize them avcording to what we wanted. The presentation was really very great. For vegetarians also they have amazing dishes. Me and my friends really enjoyed a lot and had a great meal.

Great ambiance, awesome food, even better drinks and excellent hospitality..this place has it all. They have a spacious seating area and yet it was almost full at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening. Desi fusion cocktails and lively atmosphere was probably why. I ordered the Sharabi Aam panna which was a little spicy but something very different. They also have an elaborate food menu and taste just like what we have in India, a very few restaurants in Dublin have that. We started off with complimentary papads and because we are Indians they gave us a special platter with green chutney and sirkhe wala pyaz(pickled onion) with the papad which was very thoughtful as Indians love pickled onions 😊. We ordered gobi Manchurian for the starter and it tasted amazing. The main course was good..we ordered paneer and a side portion of dal, but another highlight here was the complimentary onion salad(yes raw onions go very well with Indian main course). I also liked that they have side portions for all the vegetarian main course items as that helps reduce wastage if it’s only 1 person in the group looking for vegetarian food. Finally the servers were all amazing but a special shout out to Barbara who engaged my 2 year old for sometime so I could look at the menu. The manager was also literally going to each table making suggestions for the menu items and the getting feedback. That was a personal touch added which felt nice. I am looking forward to going back again and trying the other items on the menu.

The waitstaff were very attentive and the service was very quick. The atmosphere was amazing and welcoming. The seats were comfortable. The food was absolutely incredible. Amazing flavours and creative presentation. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would say you should visit Ashbourne just to dine here.

Stayed at the Pillo Hotel and visited Cinnamon Garden in Ashbourne. The food was incredibly fresh, full of authentic Indian flavours, and excellent quality at a very reasonable price. I couldn't believe I was enjoying such genuine Indian taste here in Ireland. Highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The butter chicken was spicier than expected, the chicken itself was quite chewy, and the prawn jalfrezi was bland and lacking in flavour. Charging €14 for an Aperol Spritz also felt excessive. Overall, it didn’t live up to expectations, and unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Straight to the top of my list of favourites in Ireland. Best Indian restaurant I've experienced so far. Great combination of taste and absolutely perfect service. Will be back indeed

Best restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I’m not exaggerating one bit. ⭐ The staff are so kind! 😊 The first time I came here, I forgot my cap, and the waiter ran out into the street to return it to me. 🧢 The food looks amazing and tastes even better. 🍽️✨ I loved every moment here and would definitely visit again if I ever return to Ireland. 🇮🇪
