Clanbrassil House in Dublin

The Michelin next door is the title suggested by my wife - and that is no joke. If you want Michelin level food quality, taste, presentation & service but you wish to pay casual dining prices THIS is the place you want. Alas, they'll be closing by end of the year so go now while there is still time. Each & every item on the menu (from starters, through mains & dessert) was utterly unique and memorable - the chef moved here from Bastible - and eating here is a Class experience. Staff are relaxed warm and friendly & I'm really sorry to see these fantastic folks go.

Love this place, been several times and never disappointed with any dish!

The balance of ingredients are perfect, tuna tartare’s umami enhanced by the parsnip and the jalapeño & coriander sauce added refreshing note to the taste. Smoked trout amazingly good, that’s the second time in my life eating non-salty smoked fish, really impressive, the flavour enhanced by fermentation of protein and subtle salty sweetness balanced with the potatoes, fried mussles(juicy bomb!). I had the french toast as dessert, rhubarb icecream was nice but totally too many food for me. I was sampling this place alone and I’m happy that it would be note down on my list to bring friends for gathering celebrating special occasions. Lovely staff, thanks for all your help, looking forward to the dinner tasting menu with donuts!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Very creative and yet totally successful culinary art utilizing super fresh local Irish ingredients. Hokkaido Squash Tortellini , Poached local North Atlantic Halibut … wow

We booked the window seats last minute, and one of us is celiac. They served us one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The tomato salad with verbena broth was amazing. Service was very good without being over polite. Great wine and wine recommendations. Would love to go back as soon as we are back in Dublin.
