19/09/2025: The sign beside the counter reads "Good Food is not Fast Food", a subtle way of saying hold your horses, it's going to be worth the wait. I only got Fish and Chips; with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The fish had a lovely crispy batter, with very tasty, flaky fish within. And it's no wonder Ryan's was voted Best Chips in Munster. They're crispy and tasty - many other establishments should take note. Double or triple dipped, perhaps? All in, there was enough in one serving to share, and both of us were very adequately fed. We'll be calling again, as it was a very worthwhile detour.

08/09/2025: Was in ennis the last 2 weeks playing for scotland in the pool world championships,went to ryans twice,it was excellent both times,staff was amazing and the ower even took us back to the hotel,fantastic chipper and people.
