This is a bougie chocolate place, so expect good chocolate at a bougie price. However, it's well worth a try. We got the Pina colada chocolate, which was absolutely delicious (8 euros a slab). This might have been the cheapest! Definitely no regrets from my family!
Try the chocolate cake at the cafe!

Wow! 🤩 this was a wonderful find. On our way to the cliffs of Moher. The factory is cute and little and there are tours. Everyone here is very nice and answers questions about the chocolate. Definitely recommend it.

Nice café with the option to sit inside and outside. There are small cakes and tarts and a large selection of drinks. You can also visit the chocolate shop and see how the chocolate is made.

If you love chocolate, you should definitely come here. Their chocolate is very good and it's the only chocolate factory in the world to use Irish milk in their chocolate. The staff were all very friendly and they have lots of good pastries for sale in the cafe.

Hazel Mountain Chocolate is a great place to stop if you are on your way to Doolin/the Cliffs of Moher. *Note that there are not many options for those with tree nut allergies.* It is not too crowded a little after-noon and is located in a beautiful part of the countryside. The coffee/drinks were excellent and the pastries were absolutely delicious! My favorites were the carrot-orange cake and the hazelnut chocolate cake. Some of the desserts were pretty average like the mini brownie and the raspberry wave (not pictured), but still priced decently. Overall, it was a great experience! The staff were kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The universe truly aligned for us to find this slice of heaven. While on a three day tour of Ireland we stopped at a rest stop and I bought as much chocolate as I could carry because I was so excited to see European chocolate and our tour guide kept teasing me for being so excited about gas station chocolate. Fast forward a day or so and our tour guide tells us he has a suprise and takes us to Hazel Mountain Chocolate. He had just happened to stop here with a couple earlier thay week that had gotten engaged at the Cliffs of Moher because they wanted beautiful chocolates. Anyway, I spent 100 euro on the best chocolate I have had in my life... tea flavored hand painted chocolates, candy bars with burren honey, marigolds, honey comb, hazel nuts.... I got chocolate covered almonds and hazel nuts. Its two weeks later and I'm back in the US eating the last of my chocolate tearing up at the thought of eating the last peice. The day this company starts delivery to the US will be the best day of my life. Otherwise I will dream of the day I return to Ireland to head to Hazel Mountain Chocolate 🤎🤎🤎

The cafe is superb. We had carrot cake and coffees, which were served in beautiful cups and it was a lovely place to relax with friends.
Afterwards we had a look at the chocolate factory. We were given a taste of the chocolate which is really lovely. The individual chocolates are handmade and hand painted and so they are expensive at 2 euros 50 cents each. I appreciate the reason for the cost, but one mouthful and they're gone so I couldn't really justify buying any sadly!
Well worth a visit though.

Wonderful chocolate place where the factory makes their own chocolate unlike majority of the chocolate maker who source their chocolate from elsewhere. They give a very nice short tour about the chocolate they make and let you taste few of them. They have a lot of chocolates where you can purchase but it is not required. You can also view a small area where they make the chocolate with a cafe that serves delicious cakes.
