Clayton Hotel Limerick in Limerick

A family group of 6 adults and 4 children stayed for one night in 3 family rooms. We stayed January 2nd. The overall experience was very postive. The location of the hotel was great and the rooms were all superb. The breakfast covered all of the bases for us and the bar was inviting for a drink. The only negative for us was the temperature of the pool on both the 2nd January and 3rd January. One of the reasons to book the hotel was the fact that it had a pool. Some of the people in our group did not use the pool because it was cold.

Absolutely loved this room. Right on the River Shannon and within walking distance to shops and pubs.

The hotel is lovely and is in a great location. From the moment you walk in the door, everything is spotless and looks great. The staff at reception were super friendly when we were checking in and it was a very smooth process. We had a room on the 9th floor with a great view. The room was perfect and the beds were so soft and comfortable. We had breakfast in the morning, and the staff there were also very friendly and helpful. The food served for breakfast was great too. My partner and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Clayton, we were incredibly satisfied with it.

Nice little hotel, they gave you a free meal which i loved.

I am here on business from America and would like to personally thank Hajar at the front desk for going out of her way to help me take care of administrative duties for work. She spent a considerable amount of time which meant so much to me and excellent help deserves excellent recognition. Thank you Hajar!

Christmas do for a small office. Food ( evening meal and breakfast) was excellent, service with attentive staff who looked after us all evening. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and accommodating staff

Friendly staff, clean room and good pool and gym facilities. We paid €280 for a king room with additional single bed. Car park is less than 200 metres away and 24hr parking is only €9 through the hotel. Park the car and hand the ticket to the reception on check in they validate it for 24hrs. View from our room was of the port on the river Shannon. Hotel is at least a 15 minute walk into town so a taxi is best advise at a cost of 8-10 euro.
