12/08/2024: I been to a greyhound race, never bet on anything before, never expected to have so much fun doing this. We had the Dinner package reserved and were seated directly at the bid windows of the restaurant, with a great view at the stadium. Before each race, a person came to the table to take our bets - which was very tempting, of course, because it was so easy. So, we did place bets on each of the 11 races that evening - what the heck, we're on vacation, and it was actually a lot of fun to not just only look at the races, but to have something at stake. We predominantly picked the dogs for their names because although there was a booklet with all kinds of information about the dogs, what did we know about all of that? Exactly. We spent 44€ for the bets and actually won 15€ back - totally worth it! And the food was very, very good, too. That was kind of unexpected, but the dinner was of restaurant quality. All in all, a wonderfully fun experience for the whole family!
