Absolutely an immaculate hotel, great food and service .

My partner and I spent two of the most relaxing days in The Talbot Hotel Clonmel. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were met with a lovely, friendly lady on Reception. That friendliness and professionalism was evident in all the staff from the Restaurant /Bar staff in the Wheat Bar and Bistro,where we had exceptional food on both nights for dinner. Indeed compliments to the chef who cooked my partners steak perfectly. We had the most lovely comfortable room for our stay. The decor of the rooms we were told on arrival had undergone decorating and our room was amazing. Very tastefully decorated. The Accommodation staff were again very attentive and made sure any needs for our room were met. We will definitely recommend this fabulous hotel to family and friends. Thank you to all at The Talbot Clonmel and we look forward to a return visit in the near future.

The staff were friendly nothing was too much trouble. The room was, modern, spotless and bed was comfortable. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer and fridge in the room too along with a safe. Good tea/coffee selection and plenty of milk, usually there's never enough! Really good choice at buffet style breakfast with extra options included on the menu if needed. We really enjoyed our stay

A fantastic stay. Rooms are immaculate, v comfy. Breakfast was excellent and all staff are a credit to the Talbot.
