I won our stay in a competition from Beat and we absolutely loved our stay!! The room was fantastic, the facilities were amazing and the food was gorgeous I just wish there was more it was soooo tasty. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything was top, staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, pool facilities were good and clean, breakfast buffet was standard but done the job. The only big issue was the heat in the room, window was wide open, we had the Dyson fan on from start of stay until we left the room and the room was still too hot. Toilet seat was unsecure.

A Memorable Stay Made Even More Special
We recently stayed at talbot hotel to celebrate my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every member of the team was genuinely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
What made our stay truly special was the thoughtful gesture of leaving gifts in the room for my parents. It was such a lovely surprise and showed how much the hotel cares about its guests and the little details that make moments memorable. My parents were deeply touched, and it made the occasion even more meaningful for all of us.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting, and everything, from the cleanliness to the service, was top-notch. We’re so grateful for the kindness and care shown by everyone at the talbot, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

We were in the Wheat Bistro Bar. Cerys took such good care of us. Her service was next to none. We had a slight delay with the food and she kept us up to date with that and ensured we had all we needed during that time. The service here is exceptional and Cerys took such good care of us!

Excellent hotel. Good location just a bit out from the main town of Clonmel.
Very little to fault, only thing is the lack of AC. But the hotel provided a fan for the room.

Service and Food was excellent, much better than we expected. The sweet cart went down so well with the kids and adults, the talking point. Also, the tv’s with cartoons were great idea we for the younger kids. The room itself was beautiful and we had plenty of space. The kids loved their names on the board too. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone, well done to all involved with the communions.
