Coffee Works in Swords

Coffee is very very good and service are very good. I got a croissant just after 8am this morning. It must have been leftover from yesterday or something as it was definitely not fresh, very dense and doughy. Hence the 1 star review for food.

I have been going here since it opened in 2021 but recently only started going more frequently. I forgot how good the coffee really is! It’s by far my favourite coffee place in swords. The latte is my go to and the quality is always consistent and great. While their prices were increased recently, it is still one of the cheaper places for coffee in swords. My only complaint is the limited seating but that’s to be expected for a smaller coffee shop. I rate the food four stars because I haven’t tried much of it besides the pastries which are good but nothing spectacular. Lovely staff who are very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return

Blanchardstown is my local Coffee Works, but when I'm in swords, this place is always my go-to for a coffee shop. Great standard, consistency, and friendliness across all locations 👏

I just had a coffee, it's very good if you just want to have a coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, they also have something to eat. I haven't tried it. Quiet atmosphere, there was almost no one.

Edit: updated to 5/5 stars now because the owner actually listened and actioned - that's rare, thank you! Absolutely love this coffee shop <3 I come here just about every other day with my doggo Kota. It's the only spot that openly welcomes dogs inside (that I know of) in Swords! The staff are all ROCKSTARS let me tell you. The coffee, tea, sweets, sambos, service are all also amazing. My only gripe, hence the 1 star, is their front door - I know, I'm that girl :( I'm here so often that I notice next to no one notices that the door doesn't auto-close, and people leave it wide open. I (or the staff) am constantly getting up to close it. In the summer it's fine, but winters it's super cold. Please, add an auto-close to the door! Such a simple fix. It'll also help make your business more green and energy efficient, as you're wasting a lot of energy currently. Sorry to be "that" person. If it gets fixed, I'll update my review to 5/5!!!
