Pros: Cheap, fast service, good food for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: It gets a bit busy on Saturday mornings, and there's limited table space if you're eating in. We got breakfast for five adults and two toddlers for about €60, including three full Irish breakfasts, one half breakfast and a scrambled egg for the little one.

Superb food and service. We were travelling towards Kilkee and rang ahead for our choice which was ready for collection when we passed through Kilrush. If you like this style of traditional chip shop food then don't pass Coffeys in Kilrush.

27/09/2026: Don't be put off by the exterior. The food is very good and reasonably priced.
28/07/2026: Picked up a fabulous meal on way from Kilimer to Kilkee. I wanted a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu and it was no problem. Family all happy, great helping and very tasty. We'll be back

The Haven Arms

24/09/2026: Anyone wanting to experience Ireland will feel right at home in this atmosphere. What some might consider "a bit dated," we see as the quintessential Irish charm. If you're looking for five-star dining, this is obviously not the place. However, they do offer excellent local cuisine. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. We'll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team!
