Connemara Coast Hotel in Na forbacha

Hotel was in an amazing location with epic views. Staff were brilliant. Good was good albeit expensive for dinner. Offered an expensive family suite on booking but didn't exist so got screwed over room cost. Internet was dodgy at best especially on the ground floor & with a teenager in tow that was annoying. Room was OK but small for what i booked. Some places looked aged, pool area was very aged & changing rooms were sopping wet constantly. Gym was adequate.

We will definitely be back! Ronait, what an exceptional host at breakfast. Friendly, professional and incredible at advice at what to visit in the area.

Very quiet , cosy, relaxed atmosphere

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Rooms were clean and modern and the bar area was nice and intimate. I would have a slight gripe with service however which was a pity. Reception was poor with poor communication and seemingly ignored a request we made over the phone from the room. The bar area during the day shift seemed under staffed and those that were seemed inexperienced. I would recommend this hotel though its in a great location and ticked the vast majority of the boxes we had for a family event with adults and kids of varying ages.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Connemara Coast Hotel! We only stayed one night, but honestly, it was the nicest hotel we visited in all of Ireland, and we really wished we’d booked another night. Our room had an amazing ocean view, and they even gave us a bathtub after we asked by email beforehand — such a lovely touch. Breakfast was huge and delicious, everything we tried was spot on. There’s no lift, so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs, but the staff immediately offered to help, which was really nice. Parking is super easy too, with lots of space to park without any stress. All in all, a top-notch stay with great service. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d definitely stay here again — and for longer next time!

Lighting in room was very low, but it was a clean, spacious and comfortable room overall. Beautiful coffee from the machine in the room. The body lotion was a lovely added touch. A new outdoor hot tub was being installed but we were not told this at time of booking.

Two separate alarms went off at 2:45am, don’t know or care what it was related too. No complaints on any staff or the building but middle of the night false alarms are never okay. Ever.

Our room was very clean, and we had a comfortable, restful 2 night stay here. We didn’t have high expectations for hotel dinners, but our dinner dishes were so good. We ended up having dinner at the hotel both nights.

We had a lovely stay at the CCH. The employees go above and beyond to help and accommodate. Ronait was always lovely and interested in our plans for the day and was very help in every way. We will be back.
