Absolute craic!!! Had a great night here with friends. Came down from Dublin with the Ulto fella to meet the Mitch fella and the Jenny one. The atmosphere was amazing, and the locals were great craic not to mention the staff and the band they had on. I would highly recommend this pub. Oh, and they have a great dart board set up. 5 stars. Ps. Huge thanks to the staff for keeping my phone and darts safe ❤️

MISTER PIZZA & TAKEAWAY

24/06/2024: You know those days when you really fancy some fish and chips? I had to scratch that itch and I really wanted to treat myself. Without naming names I went to a couple of takeaways beforehand and they didn't have fish on the menu, but Mister Pizza saved the day. I thought that their fish and chips was good value at €10 as you get two whole fillets of fish plus a generous portion of thick cut chips. The fish batter was nice and crunchy and the chips were perfectly cooked. I only had to wait about 10 minutes and everything was cooked fresh. I even shared a small bit of the fish with my dog when I got home and he appreciated it!

Sheraton Athlone Hotel

13/11/2024: Very nice, clean hotel with a high standard. The rooms are clean, spacious and have good facilities. The in-house restaurant serves high-quality cuisine with daily specials and is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast also basically offers everything from hot and cold dishes. Parking is free in the attached parking garage (voucher). Friendly staff and generally very good service.
