Service and Food was good desserts I would describe maximum price minimum effort

In with a group from the Brothers of Charity. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Emma in particular was very good and patient with the lads.

Nice food, but I missed some seasoning. For example, the mash potatoes tasted just like potatoes, or even the Mac & Cheese, didn't feel a lot of flavors. Also, the coke wasn't cold, but they gave me a glass with ice and turn out a watery coke. The sirloin steak was amazing, also the chips! Overall, pretty good.

Went to CoqBull in Castletroy and it was an all round great experience. The food was excellent. Fresh and tasty and our server Emmett gave us exceptional service. Would highly recommend

Wow....what can I say ... We booked for 37 people at less than 2 hours notice on a Friday night, they accomodated us without a problem and the service and all round experience was truly excellent. The service staff were "on it" organised empathetic and efficient in equal measures. Given the size of the party the service was little short of amazing. Even paying the bill was straightforward, as they made a note of each order individually by chair. Food was delivered quickly and was of surprisingly good quality. All in all I couldn't fault it. Thank you.

We had an all-round fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The staff were genuinely lovely: warm, friendly, and super attentive from the moment we arrived. The value for money was excellent generous portions at a really reasonable price, which made the whole experience even better. It’s also a great spot for group bookings! We had our staff party here, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The team made sure everything ran perfectly, and everyone left happy and well-fed. Highly recommend for both small meals and larger gatherings we’ll definitely be back!

Decent food but way overpriced. A bit of shrinkflation is certainly going on here too. Max prices for minimum effort.

From the minute we walked in the tone was set for a lovely evening . Top of the list is the staff. We were warmly greeted, staff waiting on the tables were really attentive and so pleasant. It’s by far the best service i’ve experienced in a limerick resturant in a very long time . The food was delicious we had starters , main course and dessert . All plates were emptied!! I’d recommend leaving room for dessert . The desserts were delicious we had warm doughnuts , oreo special ice cream cookie and Eton mess . Presentation of the food was excellent. It’s obvious there is a great team in coq bull Castletroy, well done and thank you for a lovely evening . We will definitely be back.
