Coqbull Castletroy in Limerick

We had Emma waiting on us this evening and she was so attentive, friendly and took good care of our table. Really enjoyed our meal.

Updated: Having stopped in here a 2nd time, I had to update my review from 3 stars down to 2 stars. Service was terrible, young ones scrolling on their phones looking at customers as if they were troublesome to them. When order was eventually taken, full Irish breakfast was such a mean portion size with one single fried egg taking up half the plate, tiny portion of chips, cold toast, average coffee. It's a pity the owner only addresses positive reviews here, he/she never addresses customers who raise issues, I guess it shows they have zero interest in customer satisfaction. Time to do better. Decent food but way overpriced. A bit of shrinkflation is certainly going on here too. Max prices for minimum effort.

Food was just ok my sister had cheese burger chips said it was ok sister in law had the ranch said same my boyfriend had fish and chips said safest option I had quarter chicken stuffing and chips and gravy wasn't nice all bone no meat after my sister and sister in law ordered Dessert was sitting long time before they got it I had ordered coffee I got it bf them would I go there again probably not

In with a group from the Brothers of Charity. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Emma in particular was very good and patient with the lads.

Nice food, but I missed some seasoning. For example, the mash potatoes tasted just like potatoes, or even the Mac & Cheese, didn't feel a lot of flavors. Also, the coke wasn't cold, but they gave me a glass with ice and turn out a watery coke. The sirloin steak was amazing, also the chips! Overall, pretty good.

Great food, good service. Emmett was lovely. Ordering was easy and food came quickly no hassle involved. Thank you very much.
