Costa Coffee in Dublin

Every day, my wife and I go to one of the Costa restaurants. The atmosphere was pleasant today. There were not too many guests who sit for hours over one coffee. I got the coffee this time in paper packaging, although I would have liked to ceramic cup. The quality of coffee and the pleasure of drinking it are very different.

Always come to this costa before university, kind and friendly staff, Highly recommended. Just one thing my coffee looked like it was a bit rushed which I never had a problem with in the past, taste was still the same, good quality. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants coffee, good prices.

Decent spot for coffee or tea in the heart of Smithfield. They could use some deep cleaning though… Also, the girl taking my order should be a better listener. As a non native speaker of English myself, I understand the difficulty of working in another language, but that doesn’t mean you should make up an oder without confirming.

No one working there minimally care about what they are doing. Clearly people not committed to their work. Horrible service and they make a mess regularly.

I had a bad experience with food today and the staff was rude when I complained that the chives in the pasta tasted sour and spoiled. I understand that they did not cook the food in the place and the expiration date was ok, but still, the food was not. The manager changed my pasta for a sandwich and I was ok with that, but I had a really bad time with the floor staff. I usually visit this coffee place to work and I'll keep coming because I enjoy the atmosphere of the place but I really hope the service culture gets better.

The location of the restaurant is very central, easily reachable also by the Red Line Luas, in a very busy area due to Smithfield Square. The service is great, the staff were friendly, and the coffee was served to me in a small cup, not a paper cup like in many other Dublin coffee shops. The price of coffee is slightly high in my opinion, but average for Dublin

Blueberry bubble frappe was pretty good, but prices on the high side. Friendly service, plenty of seating. Coffee and pastries look pretty good.
