Very convenient location in Waterford. Good place to come by after a shopping walk on a weekend. Frequented by youngsters I would always like to remember this visit for a cute Indian who sat across the table from mine.

Big shoutout to the two people working the St Patricks shift today! Incredible customers service, and impeccable smooth efficiency. Its a tough shift and they made it look so effortless 😊 Additionally, best made latte I've had a in a while - pure skill.

Friendly and helpful staff, who serve coffee and other items to anyone's tastes. Be mindful of the step going out the front door though, caught me out on this occasion.

Costa barronstrand is quite a nice little coffee shop,I would usually stay away from franchise coffee shops due to rude staff but when I was there I was looked after very politely by a small dark haired girl and a taller long brown haired girl. I was there for awhile so I believe they were the only staff on for that day. They are running the show and deserve the best.

Very small coffee shop, there is room upstairs, I only had a coffee as it was too early to eat. Stairs very narrow, but was ok there.

Viking Hotel Waterford

30/03/2024: Note: this review was during their construction. The rooms are basic but what I expect in a European value hotel. We could not adjust the temp, so we felt cold during the stay. The rooms are super clean and tidy. The restaurant is a good value and we used it for dinner and breakfast. The dinner was excellent. We are used to an ordered breakfast, not a buffet, but it was acceptable.
22/03/2024: Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. Very close to Waterford city. Spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. Special shout out to Millie on reception - a gem with a big welcoming smile. She was so helpful and courteous. We'll be back. Thank you Viking!!
