I just got served by the beautiful Alanna! Every time I come in she is always such a bubbly and lovely person. Her personality is amazing and she is clearly a vital person here❤️

One of the smaller Costa Coffee shops housed in an older building but with lots of character & olde world feel. Young professional staff with great customer service. Single unisex toilet on 1st floor not accessible to wheelchair users.

I had a lovely experience in this shop! I went in on a Saturday, on the 28th of March. The barista looking after me, Liam, was so polite and kind and helped my sister choose her drink as she is quite indecisive! It really made me happy because sometimes people get impatient with her. I would absolutely come back to this Costa based on this experience alone, but the drink was also really tasty :-)

The Old Couch Café

11/09/2026: We had an wonderful experience of the 11 course tasting menu. The space is small but well designed and the food was truly excellent. We had been at Michelin star restaurants the two days previously and Mara definitely held its own against these in terms of the food. Interesting use of seafood and local produce. The tasting menu gave great value for money, I was struggling for room by the end! Service was friendly (appreciated the glass of fizz on learning it was our honeymoon) and we hope to be back!
25/08/2026: We had an outstanding meal at the this wonderful gem of a restaurant in Waterford. The food, the service , the understated decor allow the food to be the centre of the show where it should be. It is so wonderful I want to keep it a secret but that would be unfair. I highly recommend you visit and experience this wonderful restaurant. Catherine
