There is one golden rule when travelling: you eat where locals eat. It never fails. Courtyard Café has well-earned the straight five stars in its reviews: on the spot made food and snacks, great coffee and friendly atmosphere. So, do not hesitate and go to visit Sligo and, when there, go to Courtyard Café or viceversa.

Courtyard Cafe is a lovely little spot with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I spent about €14 on a flat white and a homemade sandwich, both of which were fresh and tasty. The café has a bright, airy feel with plenty of natural light, making it a great place to sit and unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the comfortable vibe. It’s a perfect spot for a casual catch-up or some quiet time with good food and coffee.

Wrights Cafe Bar

19/12/2024: We had our Christmas party for the 3rd time there! Food was good as always, but the music wasn't as good as previous years, and one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude at some point! Overall it was a good experience, and we are looking forward to finding out what's coming next year! P.S.: Ruaidhri was there for us every year for our Christmas parties, making sure that we are having the best experience, so we do hope that we will see him there again in the new wrights adventure!
05/12/2024: Booked my birthday party at the birdcage and it was lovely. Great atmosphere, Paddy the bartender made us amazing cocktails and overall a good idea for a small gathering birthday party!
