Crookstown Inn — Where the Road Slows and the Welcome Warms
Out along the old N9, where the world feels a little less rushed and a bit more real, you’ll find the Crookstown Inn — a place where good food and a great welcome still mean something.
It’s the kind of spot you hear about from someone who knows the road well: "Pull in there, you won’t regret it." And they’d be right.
The plates come out full and honest, no fancy fuss — just proper cooking, the kind that fills the belly and lifts the heart. The service? The sort that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time stepping through the door.
Sure, you might have to go a mile or two out of your way — but isn't that where all the best places are?
The Crookstown Inn is a reminder that the real treasures aren’t always on the main road — and it’s a feed worth travelling for.
We had a party for 50 people for my father's 80th birthday. Really lovely room with friendly staff and good service. We were made welcome and had a lovely night
Was at Motorbike Rally breakfast run with over 50 riders. Excellent facilities, great service with friendly staff, and fantastic value for money. Would highly recommend and well worth a visit. Well done to all the staff there 👍
Lovely place with a lovely and welcoming staff. We had breakfast with the kids and it was fabulous and very generous. We will come back when we visit our friends in Grangecon.
First visit. Will definitely be back.
Extremely busy but staff were on hand to get a table before queuing for the Carvery. Excellent choice in Menu and as I'm a senior with a small appetite I was very happy to get half dinner. Great choice also of dessert and we finished with a good Americano.
Love this place. Food is delicious & the staff and atmosphere is great. Definitely will continue to visit for carvery on Sundays & dinner drinks & music on special occasions 🍷🍺🎶
