For those of you who have seen The documentary The Irish Pub, then you know the charm this place, and its owner James, have. Stopped in with my wife and two kids and had James's undivided attention for about an hour and a half as we poured through Dingle and Ireland's history with his scrapbooks and tales. Just an unbelievably magical time that I will never forget. My wife and I came to Ireland for our honeymoon in 2017 but never made it here. So I swore if I ever made it back to Ireland that all I wanted to do was go here and spend time with James. In 2026, I finally got that chance, and it lived up to the hype.

I was so pleased to find a proper Irish pub with locals - the kind of pubs I loved when I was here 25 years ago. They seem to be few and far between in the tourist areas now, but this had a local feel and fantastic music. Really friendly staff as well.

Really one of the top 2 or 3 pubs in Dingle. Simple, understated and wonderful vibe.

A small authentically Irish traditional pub. It has a good amount of seating for its size. The large windows make it bright and there was a low hum of chatter creating a relaxing atmosphere. It has floor to ceiling shelving running down both sides so was probably a traditional grocery/ hardware shop as well as a pub back in the day. Lots of the usual knick knacks and antique drinks related signage and seemingly original fittings. The bar man was friendly and efficient and I had a nice chat with a couple of locals at the bar. Overall exactly what you want from a pub!

Great traditional pub, a must stop for any pub/pint lover. Wife and I stayed for a few pints and Curran's was our favourite pub in town (along with Hannie Agnes's). If I lived in town I imagine I'd be there most days of the week!

This is my number 1 pub in Ireland, James the owner is so helpful and friendly. The staff are great, the Guinness is 10/10. The locals are your friends as soon as you sit down.
