Daata in Bray

I visited this lovely Indian restaurant in Bray again but with my daughter this time and had a really enjoyable experience from start to finish. We started with some excellent starters, Lamb chops & Chicken wings (perfectly cooked and well-spiced), followed by a delicious lamb mince main for myself and a wonderfully creamy curry for my daughter, which she absolutely loved. What made the visit even more special was speaking with the maître d’, who turned out to be another daughter in the family that runs the restaurant. It was a really nice surprise, as I’ve been well looked after in the past by her sister at the Glasthule and Blackrock branches. It’s clear that this is a close-knit, passionate family who really care about their food and their guests. Service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the quality of the food was top notch. Highly recommended – especially if you appreciate genuine hospitality and authentic Indian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

It was our son's birthday and we choose Daata Bray to celebrate. We started with cosmopolitan and mango Lassi and it was too good! We really enjoyed Tandoori prawns, Daata Shashlik, garlic naan. The dessert we choose was Paan kulfi and it was outstanding.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here, amazing food and such a lovely staff. Surprised us with the sweetest birthday wish in the end ❤️

Authentic Pakistani food vibe the aura of place its self is so magical. Loved everything about the place perfect for a family date or with someone special. The slight disappointment was the portion size of the mains in comparison to the price. Rest everything is so amazing ♥️

Sympathetic welcome, cozy atmosphere, quick service, and fantastic food. The Daata House Black Dahl is highly recommended, as is the 'garlic & coriander naan'. Dessert of cardamon dumplings was very tasty and enough for two :-)

Fantastic, plenty of options for the Coeliac dinner which was impressive, I cannot fault the food which was superb and the cocktails including the alcohol free ones were delicious and beautifully presented.
