Dockyard No. 8

Bray
09/08/2026: my experience here was incredible this is now my favourite place to get food, the staff if very kind, coffee is amazing in their and atmosphere is very good and i like where its placed not to busy, i would go here every day if i could afford
07/08/2026: A cute brunch/lunch spot on the marina just north of Bray coast. I had the Docklands Breakfast, which was severely overpriced for the quantity of food you get. Half of the plate was taken up by 2 slides of bread. A small plastic pot of hot beans also wasn't sufficient for the full meal. (Please change to ceramic pots instead of plastic ...). I also believe the sausages are the cheap frozen sausages you can get from Iceland. My partner had the Chefs Breakfast, which was a lot better quality than the Docklands but still pricey at 17 euros. It's worth visiting if you've got the budget but I would personally stray away from the Breakfasts.

Carpe Diem

Bray
28/07/2026: Best cool mom and pop Italian cafe. Everything is fresh and homemade. Lovely owners Rebecca and Tony. We eat here all the time. Their Lambrusco is particularly good in summer heat of ‘26. Joint best coffee in Bray - Crêperie Chez Louis on the Main Street is the other.
25/07/2026: A peaceful place with exquisite Italian food. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a breath of fresh air, thanks to the authentic flavors and the bread with olive oil. Mamma mia! 😋

Butler & Barry

Bray
18/07/2026: It's okay... the setting is very nice. The staff are friendly enough but girl who served my wife and I was a bit grumpy, maybe just a bad day. Weirdest thing - my wife ordered "Irish sea trout" only to be given salmon. When we raised this with waitress she simply said "oh that's what it's called on the menu". In what world is that a normal thing to do? To call salmon, trout? And then for her to shrug her shoulders as if it's our problem. Maybe let people know their trout is actually salmon, or better yet rename it on the menu. Have asked 10 people about this and they are all as shocked as we were. Bizzare behaviour, I wonder what else they call one thing and it's actually another.
18/07/2026: Shawn was amazing! Came here from canada and he was absolutely incredible. a memorable part of our trip.

Bray
04/08/2026: Excellent experience. Lovely homemade ravioli, very pleasant service. Went on a Friday, reservations absolutely needed...
20/07/2026: I was spending a few days in Bray and looking for a place to eat, and I definitely found the right spot. The staff was friendly even though I didn't have a reservation and the place was full. They offered me a table for 45 minutes, which was perfect. The lasagna was delicious. I will definitely return to Bray.

Harbour Bar

Bray
20/08/2026: Wonderful service, super fresh and delicious food, we loved it. Highly recommended.
08/08/2026: Great place just off the usual busy strip near the harbour. Free parking close by (I got a space right outside), great views of the harbour and the coast and sea views if you eat upstairs where it's light and airy. Delicious food great staff , I was very warmly welcomed in by a staff member at the entrance. It was mad busy but I got a good seat with sea views upstairs so nice I could have stayed all day. Clean toilet facilities and the average price for a meal (lunch or dinner) is between 16euro and 25euro. Waiting time about ten to fifteen mins when busy which it was. I highly recommend this place for anyone esp a small family in need of some quiet away from the busy downstairs.

Pink Salt

Bray
10/08/2026: Lovely food and service was good
02/08/2026: Our experience at Pink salt was absolutely amazing.. We ordered Black dal, paneer , bhindi and naan, everything was absolutely delicious.. We did ask to customise few things by reducing the chilli level and they did their best to make us happy.. One of the places in Dublin where you can get authentic Indian taste.. Kudos to our excellent server Byju and Amal.. We are definitely coming back to taste more food.

Creperie Chez Louis

Bray
26/07/2026: We always enjoy our visits there, delicious food, kids love watching the crepes being made :) everyone is friendly, sometimes under pressure, but always doing their best! We will continue returning 🤗
25/07/2026: Family had a hankering for a good complete, difficulty was the bar had been set very high by a place in Carnac last summer. Joy! The crepe must be cooked but not overcooked, nice ham and melty cheese and the egg yolk must be soft and runny. And all this just a DART ride from the City. Also had a lovely caramelised apple crepe flambé with Calva. Taste bud memories reactivated. Son was so happy with his complete he had a second one! Wife and daughter were very happy their crepes, also including apple, Breton legal obligation. A bottle of demi-sec cider completed the fantasy! Merci bien Monsieur.

Catalyst Coffee - Florence Villas

Bray
19/08/2026: Lovely place”overly coffee. Dog friendly when we were unfortunately there was a dog that wouldn’t stop barking at others, not the staffs fault. But people should keep reactive dogs home, I wouldn’t take my to a place this for the same reason
16/08/2026: Very disappointing when menu changed. Significant reduction in options such as pancakes and french and the vegiterian breakfast. Hopefully these options are added back one day however for now it's disappointing. Great service and nice atmosphere however no longer as good for vegiterian/ vegan breakfasts.
