What an amazing restaurant. Hidden behind an unpretentious frontage on the shore at Bray. We almost walked past it but the menu caught our eye. We had one of the tastiest Pakistani meals we’ve ever had and over a lifetime that’s more than a few! The house specialities of Black Dhaal and Lyallpuri Paneer were subtly spicy and bursting with flavour. The Garlic Naan was unbelievable and the main lamb Lahore Mutter Keema was a conversation stopper. The dish of Aloo Bujia and the cups of Chai probably tipped us over the edge of slightly too much to eat. But we wouldn’t have missed it. The attention from all staff, including the manager, was excellent and the bill very very reasonable. Thanks so much DAATA. If we’re ever back your way…. Or maybe you’d consider opening a branch in Belfast?

First time in Daata and it was beautiful. Doki our server was pleasant, attentive and friendly. Food was wonderful and so nice to see authentic Indian desserts too. Will definitely be back.

we have been there on 20th of march .. pre booking is required otherwise you can’t get a place.. we ordered there samosa chat, mango lasii, parizad drink, along with biryani , garlic chilli chicken , data house black daal and dataa thal .. biryani , bbq thal and daal was amazing 10/10.. but didn’t like chilli garlic chicken it looked and tasted more like simple tomato curry with chicken 2/10.. parizad was not much tempting 5/10 .. overall it was okay but was not upto my expectations.. only best things are there biryani and daal.. service was good and atmosphere was okay .. among desserts we ordered there pistachio cheese cake and it tasted good 9/10

My favourite restaurant in Bray! Absolutely delicious food. The service is excellent and the atmosphere and decor are fab. Am never disappointed!

It’s a gem hidden in bray. I was so impressed by the interiors and their choice of cutlery. One of the man from their staff who had long hair was very kind and sweet. Their mango lassi was to die for. Probably in my top 3. Although I did not enjoy the lamb biryani. It lacked flavours felt like I was eating pilau rice. Everything else was fantastic.

I went for dinner last Saturday. I had booked a table for two online, but when I arrived they told me that I hadn’t actually booked a table and that we’d have to eat at the bar. Honestly, that wasn’t what I was expecting. I checked my reservation and it clearly said table for two, even in the notes, so the evening didn’t start off very well. The restaurant itself is nice, but the dishes didn’t really impress me. I also don’t quite see the logic behind the final bill compared to the quality, the cost of the ingredients, and the portion sizes. Would I go back? Probably not.

We were there yesterday for my husband’s birthday. When I phoned them a week ago to book a table, I mentioned it will be my husband’s birthday and yesterday the staff sang happy birthday to him and brought ice cream after our meal. The service was excellent, great atmosphere and amazing food. They were very quick and efficient. The food and drinks were served quickly. We will definitely be back.
