I was here yesterday with my family and honestly had such a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in, the manager and all the staff were incredibly welcoming—just genuinely kind, friendly people who made us feel comfortable straight away. A special mention and big THANK YOU to Alfredo — he was super friendly, easy to chat to, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. He had such a positive attitude, checked in at just the right moments, and made sure everything was perfect for us without ever being intrusive. You can tell he really cares about customers and takes pride in his work, which made a big difference to our evening.His Service was spot on all evening. Everything arrived on time, and he really went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Change the table upon our request…You can tell they actually care, which makes a big difference. The food looked amazing when it came out—really nicely presented—and tasted just as good. You could see the attention to detail, from the decoration to the portion sizes. Overall, it was just a great experience. Good food, great service, and a genuinely nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

Upon entering, we found a dimly lit space that didn't exactly inspire us to linger. But once we settled in and our food arrived, everything changed. The perfectly balanced flavors satisfied all our senses. Incredible! The atmosphere transformed into a warm and inviting space. Then, with the desserts, it was confirmed once again that this was an excellent choice.

Daata in Bray is one of the most talked about Indian restaurants in the area and our visit was an interesting experience overall. Starting with the positives — we arrived without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated without any issue. The ambiance is genuinely stunning — beautifully designed, warm and elegant. It has a real fine dining feel from the moment you walk in and the setting alone makes it worth a visit. The tandoori dishes were the clear highlight of our meal — bold, well spiced, perfectly cooked and full of authentic flavour. Exactly what you hope for from a quality Indian restaurant and they delivered brilliantly on that front. However some of the other dishes did not quite live up to the price point. For a restaurant of this reputation and standing consistency across the entire menu is what separates good from great — and that was not fully there on our visit. The overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable — just not quite the extraordinary meal the reviews had led us to expect. A good restaurant with a beautiful setting and some genuinely excellent dishes. Worth visiting — particularly for the tandoori — just go in with balanced expectations. Bray is lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre. We would visit again.

Great halal food with good serving size, lovely service and atmosphere.

We ordered a mini dinner, just two vegetable side dishes and a kid's dinner to take away. The saag paneer was spicy and smooth -- fantastic! The black dahl was smokey and delicious. The kid's coconut-cream chicken was lightly spiced, but still aromatic, a great gateway drug into Indian food for fussy little ones. We appreciated how differently the three dishes were spiced and how generous the sides were.

The butter chicken is unlike any I’ve tried, different in the best way. The atmosphere is great, too.

Food was excellent, full of flavor and aroma, with a nice residual spice tingle without being too hot to enjoy. I have never had Pakistani cuisine before but Daata made me a big fan. The decor, ambience and music were transporting, the staff helpful and attentive. If I lived in Ireland I would go out of my way to be a regular.

Consistently good food and service! Always an interesting experience everytime I try something new.

Always great food and service anytime I’ve been here! Highly recommend the ‘Pistachio milk cake’ by far one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while!
