Harbour Bar in Bray

We met up for drinks, great atmosphere, good buzz.

Great spot for a bit of socialising! Lots of different spaces and seating. Music food and drink! An old style sitting room, a spacious area with big sofas. A stage area for bands and two snugs with open fires! Upstairs is a big area for performances like comedy. And most importantly dogs are really welcome!

I've been going to the Harbour Bar for nearly 40 years, it doesn't miss a beat, great pints, great selection, and on a dirty, rainy day, there's no better place than the small room with the fire blazing.

We took a break at this lovely bar after doing the cliff walk and we were pleasantly surprised by the fireplace actually being lit up. It created a really cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately they didn’t serve any food (not sure if that’s always the case or just on the day) which was a bit disappointing but the service was nice. The bar itself is so nicely decorated and has so much character, you can tell it’s been there for a long time.

I had a really great experience at The Harbour Bar in Bray. The atmosphere there is absolutely amazing – very unique, cozy, and full of character. You can really feel the history of the place, and it creates a special vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. They were attentive without being too intrusive, and everything felt relaxed and comfortable. The food was good overall, and we enjoyed our meal. However, in our opinion, the seafood was slightly overcooked during our visit. It wasn’t a big issue, but something that could be improved. Despite that, we truly liked this place a lot. The atmosphere and service made a strong impression on us. We will definitely come back again and would recommend it to others looking for a memorable spot in Bray.

this is such a lovely pub, don’t miss out if you’re visiting bray! ⭐ we tried the catch of the day (best fish&chips i’ve ever had, the fish was so tender and crispy), the o’toole toastie which honestly changed my life forever and later also ordered tempura prawns which were nice too it’s such a cosy place and they also have board games which is really nice :) will come back for sure!
