Dall'Italiano in Dublin

I’m a Japanese student currently studying abroad in Ireland, and I came across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat. I’m really glad I decided to come in. This place is wonderful. First of all, the Italian owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The service was excellent, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. As for the food, I ordered the carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, without exaggerating or trying to be polite, it was the best spaghetti I have ever had in my life. The portion was also very generous, so I think students with a big appetite would be more than satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Italian food in Dublin. I’m very happy that I found this place!

Owner chef server.. singlean operation. Excellent food, somewhat limitedenu but if they have what you want then who needs a 50 page menu?

I had the carbonara it was amazing! everything was priced really well and the food was great. The owner is also super nice and it was great talking to him. :)

My group found this restaurant by luck. We were staying the night near the airport before flying home. We did message ahead on WhatsApp and we're able to get a seating. The man that answered the reservation request is the same that showed us to our table and got our orders; he is also the owner (and chef). This is probably the best pasta I have had, and the two that had been to Italy said it was the best they'd had since finding a similar place in Italy. The food was fresh, cooked to perfection, and correct portions. The tiramisu was THE BEST we have had. Overall we count ourselves as extremely lucky to have found this place, and we will miss it when we return back home.

This place is truly a hidden gem in Finglas. A one man show, Vio does it all- he cooks, takes orders, and busts the table. The whole experience is a labor of love, and it shines through in the food. Vio makes the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy (and it's better than a most of the Italian food I have had in Italy as well.) The lasagna and tiramisu are both must tries, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The place is reservation only, so book ahead. Plan to stay awhile as while because Vio and his customers like to chat and you are gonna to want a healthy amount of time to savor some of the best food in Dublin.

What a lovely place - delicious food, amazing warm service, great wine, pricing is such a deal. Ended up talking to everybody else in the place! Let the owner pick your meal for you - he’s good at it. But definitely have the panna cotta for dessert!
