When I called the landline on Google the owner advised me to read the details and send him WhatsApp messages to make reservations which is brilliant , it was easy to communicate.
We all had pastas and they were all good .
The decorations and atmosphere were nice as well.
The owner is friendly and takes cooking very seriously and has pride in it.
There was a parking lot a few meters away on the corner, 2 euros per hour.

Homemade pasta, the question is from Barilla or De Cecco?
Also first time I see lines of Balsamic cream on Amatriciana pasta.
The bruschette were def not the type you would expect from a restaurant with 4.5+ rating.
Be careful you NEED to book, even if the restaurant is empty if you don't want to get told off by the owner, and feel he's making you a massive favor by accepting you in.
Sorry to be honest but I just don't get the rave about the food here, maybe just went on a bad day.

Absolutely delicious food served with an enormous amount of care and attention to detail. It's obvious how much Vio cares about food, and about creating a wonderful experience for people. And he has the best tiramisu in Dublin. Would highly recommend.

We stopped by chance for lunch after our visit to the botanical garden... And it was a success!
A cozy restaurant, run by a very attentive and friendly guy. Before sitting down he informs you that he is alone and the food may take a while, and that he does not serve pizza or beer. But it's worth it... Everything was very good and the wait was short!
We ordered a spectacular caprese salad to share, followed by fettucine al ragu and penne alla amatriciana. Everything was perfect: the point of the pasta, the homemade sauce, the presentation... Simply incredible.
For dessert we ordered tiramisu and panna cotta... A great end to the experience.
When we return to Dublin, we will repeat.
To the owner: if you read this... Spain will win the Euro Cup π

We visited the restaurant after doing a tour in Glasnevin Cemetery. We were warmly welcomed by the Italian owner/chef. There is a varied main menu and delicious deserts and coffee. The chef will assist you in your choice from the menu and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Both our meals were delicious, not to mention the amazing tiramisu - the best I've tasted! I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good Italian food - you will not be disappointed. Hope to visit again in the not too distant future.
