A quaint, traditional pub. Dark, with old-fashioned decor. There's a TV in the back for sports.
It has a certain charm. It's not a bright, modern pub.
The food was tasty and arrived quickly.
We went to this pub to watch a Barça match and it was a great choice. They had large screens with good picture quality, so we could follow the game perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, ideal for enjoying the football without the crowds. The service was also quick and the staff very friendly. A highly recommended place to have a drink while watching a good match.
Had a good time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't realise that they only started their Al a carte service from 3. But they do carvery. Mine was delicious, I had the chicken Kiev. My boys had chips and goujons and did not like the goujons.
My self and 3 others passing through town late one evening around 8:30pm. Called in for food. We had abit of a car journey ahead of us. We were taken care of really quick smashing food arrived in a very reasonable time. Excellent food and excellent friendly staff. Not local to the area but would like to call back another time. Very nice well laid out interior.
