16/03/2024: My boyfriend and I recently started going to the little cactus. Their macchiatos are so-so and the matcha isn’t smooth the way it’s supposed to be. I wouldn’t usually say this is a big deal but considering the price and also having “speciality coffee” in the name I did expect more. The iced oat chai was lovely but didn’t really satisfy my sweet tooth like most do. My boyfriend prefers a more savoury taste and he loved it. Little cactus is a lovely spot on a sunny day, assuming there are enough chairs outside. Inside there aren’t any comfy seats and the atmosphere is quite cold. There always seems to be a manager in the one comfy-looking seat! I also totally get the industrial look they are going for with the floor, but it just isn’t working and makes the place look half-done. Lastly, I’d like to shoutout the Australian girl who works there. She’s very sweet and makes it obvious how much she genuinely cares about customer service. Thanks for making our day.
