Great atmosphere with live music and great food - the beef and Guinness stew was delicious.

Classic Irish pub. Delicious Irish food. We tried the Guinness Beef Stew and the Bangers and Mash.

Delicious food in a fantastic atmosphere with live music and exceptional service thanks to the attentive waiters. We went back two nights in a row because the food is truly delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed an authentic pub experience. We can't wait to return!

Bittersweet experience at Darkey.The food was fine and the blonde waitress was very kind. The problem came with the waiters ,especially the one with long hair. He was rushing me to order first and then to pay the bill and leave right after I finished the food. that's not cool. The 3 waiters came to my table one after another,to ask me if I wanted the bill and I said I wanted to have a few minutes of rest after eating. I worked in gastronomy for many years and that behaviour by those guys was inappropriate. The place wasn't even busy so there was no reason to be pushy.

It’s clear they dislike tourists, and that’s a good thing. They might’ve been terse, but their service was top notch. I ordered Irish stew and a Guinness at the bar, and they brought it out to me in three minutes. Price is reasonable. Music is fantastic. Best dinner spot in Dublin.

0% Guinness on tap, banging burger and live music - can’t beat it to be fair. A fab true Irish experience. Pint was €7.50 though for 0% :(((

Such a great pub, the food was amazing and the service was super quick and efficient! The vibes were also incredible with live music playing all evening! Definitely a must visit when in Dublin!

Superb pub on the edge of the Temple Bar district. A lively crowd, a great atmosphere, and friendly smiles. A professional welcome where you think you won't get a seat, but everything is done to make you feel welcome. Guinness, of course, and typical dishes with generous portions. Add to that a live performance with beautiful Irish ballads and songs from the Irish folk repertoire… For our first night in Dublin this short weekend, I think we hit the jackpot. Thanks to the team, and I think it's a must-do!

Excellent pub, great atmosphere and kudos to the team for being super busy but great service and making it all look easy! We had the chowder and it was cracking, tried the Guinness...definitely worth a visit. One of the best pubs in Dublin.

Great pub in the area, local crowd, local bands, and a fantastic atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the food is very good too!
