Darkey Kelly's in Dublin

Darkey Kelly’s is a fantastic Dublin pub that perfectly captures the spirit of the city. The food was good (although my burger had too much going on for my liking and was pretty messy but delicious none the less) with a varied selection of Irish and pub classics. There is live music every day to give it that authentic vibe and it’s not on the traditional tourist routes so the prices are competitive. Whether you’re popping in for a meal, a pint, or an evening of music, Darkey Kelly’s offers an authentic Dublin pub experience.

A really good, nice pub with a huge selection of whiskey. We had a sandwich with fries which was perfectly filling for €10.

A very good pub to try traditional Irish cuisine, I highly recommend it!

A bit of a touristy spot, but serving delicious beef stew (perfect for a dreary winter day)

Probably the easiest 5 stars I have ever given. We visited on a cold Monday in January, and the place was full. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles from the moment we arrived. Until that day, I honestly didn’t know that you could get such excellent food in a pub. There was a great selection of beers and whiskey, very good live music, and incredibly fast service. To everyone working there: thank you!

Good Irish food and music Sunday night.

Darkey Kelly's is the connoisseur's dive bar. The tables are sticky, the people are friendly, the crowd is rowdy, and the music is fun. It's a bit touristy, being on the edge of Temple Bar and all, but that's a small nit if you know what you're getting into.

Visited Darkey Kelly's on a recommendation from our food tour guide - we asked for good fish and chips and we found it! We visited around 7:30 on a Thursday and it was packed. Listened to some great Irish music, had a pint and delicious fish and chips. Good, quick service and a fun time!
