We had a great time in this place. Like many Irish pubs, it offers traditional music concerts. We went there on a Thursday around 7 p.m. and it wasn't crowded. We ate there and continued the evening with beer. The only downside is that the waiters are a little too insistent in taking new orders when the glasses are almost empty.

Typical Irish pub recommended! The food is good and typical and the portions are quite generous. In particular, I recommend the roast beef, when available as a dish of the day. Furthermore, there is a really wide choice of beers and I appreciated that each one is briefly described on the menu. Courteous staff and quick service, average cost for Dublin.

All foods were great and the atmosphere absolutely perfect to enjoy the night. I surprised there are an array of Irish whiskey! All staffs were so friendly and supprotive.

Hemos comido hoy, día 30 de diciembre, y nos ha encantado. El local tiene mucho encanto y ambiente. Suena música irlandesa todo el rato y por las tardes tienen música en directo (iremos sin falta). Todo lo que hemos probado estaba muy rico: beef con puré de patatas, fish&chips y las salchichas con patatas para las niñas. Las cervezas que tomamos, marca Brewery, son de ellos. El personal es muy amable y Daniel, un chico mexicano, nos atendió de maravilla. Volveremos seguro!

Bel pub con bella musica dal vivo, personale top per simpatia e locale storico. Ci siamo stati anche a pranzo e abbiamo preso un ottimo stufato.

27/01/2025: Fancy place to celebrate event. Nice ambiance. Spacious sitting. Dishes were served with great presentation. We tried most of the dishes Onion Soup, Scallops, Sole fish of the day, Apple Blackberry Crumble, Creme Brule. My fav was Creme Brule. The service by our server Joseph was top notch. The only down sides was that place was bit pricy for how it tasted. For that price I was expecting some great flavours in my mouth like I have experience at other places. Also the food portion was very small. 74 euros for a sole fish sharing for two and it tasted okayish and also very small quantity.
26/01/2025: Everything about La Maison was charming and perfect. Starting with the home made pesto (paired with bread) when you sit down, to the home made chocolate you receive with the check. The details were impeccable at this cute little French restaurant on the end of a busy street. The decor was quietly upscale and every bite of food was delectable. My table shared the fois grad appetizer, which was delicious. We also had the duck, halibut, and venison between us all. Everything was perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend a stop at La Maison!

02/02/2025: Had a pint of Guinness and a seafood chowder at three places yesterday. Denvir's in Downpatrick, Fitzpatrick’s just outside Carlingford and the Gravediggers. Kavanagh's was the best for both. The Guinness is absolutely one of the best in Ireland and the seafood chowder is amazing. Service was efficient and friendly, Ann was wonderful. Totally recommend anyone contemplating a visit to do it. Highly recommended!
