A great pub in Dublin where you can listen to good music while drinking a pint of Guinness!

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this amazing pub. We arrived in from a gloomy rainy day of sightseeing to a very warm reception by staff. As it was very busy we were told we would have to wait until a table became vacant. We were invited to have a drink at the bar whilst we waited. I tried my first Guinness and it is definitely not for me but my partner assures me it is fantastic. After 20 or so minutes we were seated. The irish stew warmed my body and soul. Heaven on a plate. We had only planned on stopping for a short time for food but stayed there all night. Amazing music and unbeatable atmosphere. We moved to the the bar so we could see the musicians and were kept entertained with great music and fantastic hospitality from the bar staff. My partner loved the Guinness and the vast selection of whiskey and recommendations made. I asked for some cocktails not on the menu and the staff happily obliged. We return to Ireland in June and hope to see all the amazing staff again. Special thanks to Jamie for the amazing drinks 🍸🍹🍺🍻

During our holiday in Dublin, and thanks to a local guide's recommendation, we went to this typical Irish pub for dinner.
The atmosphere was unbeatable, and something we're not very used to here in Spain—live music in every pub you pass—created a special ambiance.
The food was delicious and full of flavor, despite being something as "simple" as mashed potatoes with sausages and BBQ sauce. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the other dish we ordered was extremely spicy, and we weren't told beforehand. Otherwise, the service was exceptional, and they even went out of their way to provide a vegan option for my sister. The price was a bit high compared to other countries, but it was worth it. It was a lovely experience!

Stopped in for some drinks, modestly priced given the location. Service and general atmosphere was superb. Look forward to visiting again.

An authentic Irish pub steeped in history. You'll hear all about it on the free Dublin Mysteries walking tour. The food is generally very good, and like others in the city, it's a truly authentic place. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy. Definitely worth a return visit.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a large party. They greeted us fast and got us to the first open table and then moved us to a bigger table when one opened up. They kept our Guinness glasses full and the food was awesome. I got the fried cod sandwich and it was perfect. Live music was awesome as well.

Lovely place withe great staff, only negative i have is in relation to the chowder I had. There were way to many mussels (in the shell) with the chowder making the process of eating the dish a little awkward, the flavour etc. was nice though.

My first night in Dublin—I highly recommend this pub. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was very good. Not to mention the excellent pint of Beamish. 🍺

Come here for a first evening in Dublin to see an authentic Irish Pub. We got the recommendation from a local. Locals come here often and you get delicious beer and food. The staff is also super friendly and you have live music. The Irish stew was very good but the burger was unseasoned. Beer top quality, we come visit it again.
