I have been eating here since 1994, and I have never had a bad meal. Every meal has been consistently excellent. The service is outstanding. Thanks to Aisling, who recently organised a special (going out) anniversary booking for my wife and me. We are going to get the same table that we had on our first date. Thank you Aisling and Henrick.

Visited this restaurant on a particular very busy Thursday afternoon for luncheon and had to wait a long time for service. The service was good but I had to keep calling staff over to the table which isn’t ideally. We all had various dishes of food and the food was very scrumptious and cooked very well and plenty of it to go around. The best part of the service was Kathleen she was the highlight of the visit to Davis’s Restaurant All and all 8/10 for a good luncheon.

Stopped with work colleagues during early evening. It was very busy. Food took a while to come but wasn't massively delayed. I had a steak sandwich. I wasn't asked how I'd like the steak done (I usually am). It came with just one half of the ciabatta bread (mean). The steak was a cheap cut and was tough which I would usually expect with a steak sandwich but thought on this occasion, due to the nearly €25 price, that it would be nicer. No salad, just chips and a bit of coleslaw. So overpriced. €28.20 for a steak sandwich and coke- very much not worth it. It was "grand" but should have cost €15 based on standard, which was very average. I doubt I'll be back.

The Station House Hotel

04/11/2024: The Station House Hotel captivated us with its charming and historic allure, offering cozy rooms adorned with old-world decor that create a welcoming atmosphere. Its transformation from a train station is met with admiration for its cleanliness and historical integrity. The hotel is widely commended for being friendly and professional and we found it to be exactly that. Both myself and my husband stayed there for a much anticipated friends reunion. We had the most amazing meal in the restaurant which was top shelf. I had the scallops to start and then the hake. Everything cooked to perfection. We stayed in the Signal Suite and I may add this was a rare treat for us. The detail was flawless Would thoroughly recommend and I will look forward to returning soon
31/10/2024: We had our wedding at The Station House Hotel, and it was nothing short of magical! Our wedding coordinator, Caroline Hegarty, was a dream to work with. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, making the planning process so much smoother. The venue itself is stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect on our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We look forward to returning to The Station House Hotel in the future as a special place filled with beautiful memories. Thank you, Caroline, and the entire team, for making our wedding day truly unforgettable! 💖
