Stopped in for lunch today, this place never disappoints, the roast beef was beautiful and tender along with the roasted vegetables made a fantastic meal. Not so keen on ash but that's personal preference. Rebecca was an excellent waitress and looked after all my needs despite the restaurant being very busy. Thank you to Rebecca and all the staff.

Food was ok. Garlic mushrooms are always fab here. I got steak and it was bland the kids had burgers and the meat was too thick for them. Food is usually fab here

First time back in year's the cheesy garlic potatoes are still as good as I remember. We were a party of 8 everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, atmosphere is dull not much background music no interaction with staff.

We had dinner on the last night of our trip. It was recommended to us by the owner of the place where we were staying. Everything was perfect! From the large and beautiful space, to the kindness of the staff, and the food. I recommend it if you're in the area.

Their slow cooked featherblade of Irish beef is to die for. Falls apart, no need to use your knife, just pull it apart with your fork. The honey glazed loin of bacon and cabbage is another good choice

06/08/2025: Terrific experience. Took family of five(5) here for lunch on a Tuesday. I'm quite picky and particular but I found the food was excellent and the staff we're really great too. The kids loved their food and desserts were also a major hit (the sticky toffee pudding was amazing). The interior decor was tasteful and fitting with the surroundings of the Gap of Dunloe. The restrooms were very clean. I'd go back here in a heartbeat. Bought a nice sweatshirt at the adjoining store after lunch. Five stars.

09/08/2025: Don't let the rather bland exterior fool you as behind the facade is a 5 star family run hotel and restaurant serving some of the finest food I have tasted. Lovely to relax in the Green room with lovely views after your meal. Pet friendly a real deal maker!!
08/08/2025: A very nice little hotel with tastefully furnished rooms, comfortable beds, newly renovated, a modern bathroom, a good breakfast buffet (you can order an extra breakfast), excellent taste, and everything prepared with love. Highly recommended.
