I bought a new build in knocklyon in 1984 and delanys was my local. I absolutely loved it there. Mick Delany, his wife and young Michael were the owners and nicer people you could never meet. Does anybody know if any of the family are still involved

Here now on Saint Patrick's Day 2026. The place is very busy but the staff are excellent. The drinks are flying.

15/09/2026: Was at the American football match I need some food to soak up the drink. They have some very good special offers so I got some chicken specified rice for dinner which I thought was exceptional value for the quantity that came out. Fast efficient service of the police clean or be quiet.
06/07/2026: Cheap €9.95 lunch. The regular dish is a decent size for the price. The manager was nice enough to check on the guest mid meal like a standard restaurant, rather than a fast-food. Overall vibe and food was great. Recommend for a cheap but filling lunch bite.
