My go-to Indian takeaway in Lucan but lately their lack of consistency is very frustrating. You can order the same dish 6 times and get 6 completely different curries.

This is a lovely restaurant, which these days are rare as I find alot of restaurants are more interested in doing takeaways and not creating a nice dining experience. Delhi Darbar Lucan is a restaurant with a great atmosphere, great food and very attentive waiting staff. They also do amazing cocktails. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Delivery driver rang the door bell and banged on the door at the same time, then he didn’t have any change and made out I should have change (I chose cash payment on the order)

Always a safe bet for a tasty Indian meal. I’ve been several times and have not once been disappointed. It’s an old school restaurant serving all of your old favourites. Great staff and comfortable seating area.

We went to Delhi Darbar in Lucan for dinner on New Year’s Eve — four of us — and it turned out to be a lovely evening. The ambience was warm and inviting, with a calm and quiet atmosphere that made it easy to talk and enjoy our time together. Soft background music added to the relaxed vibe without being intrusive.
The food was excellent — every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We especially appreciated the great selection of vegetarian options, all cooked perfectly and full of authentic Indian taste. The service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed, even though it was a busy night.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience — great food, soothing atmosphere, and very welcoming staff. A perfect spot for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. Highly recommended!
