Carvery on the weekend offers great food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and a good pint of Guinness can be had here!

We had our Mam's funeral wake at the Deputy Mayor. The manager couldn't have been more helpful when we went to book it. On the day everything was perfect. The staff were very polite and professional. Thank you very much to all at the Deputy Mayor from The Cullen family

I love this Pub, therefore every time I am vising friends in Finglas we come here. Last and most recent visit was on Sunday when we enjoyed a really tasty and generous (portion wise), Sunday Dinner. Service is professional and friendly, and the pub so spacious that you do not even have to book in advance.

The Deputy Mayor is a lovely unassuming pub. The decor was bright and airy. I went on Sunday and it was a cavery lunch. The selection of food was very good and the food was very tasty. The portions were quite generous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a bit quiet when I went in as it was early. There were many tables reserved for later on in the day, so I would think that it's very popular.

27/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Foxrock Village From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming reception exactly what every great restaurant should have. We were shown straight to our table and given plenty of time to look over the lunch/dinner menu, which had a fantastic selection of dishes, all very reasonably priced. This was my first visit to this restaurant in Foxrock Village, and I sincerely hope it won’t be my last. I went for the goat’s cheese to start, followed by the roast beef for my main course, and finished with the apple crumble for dessert all perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The meal was beautifully complemented by a lovely bottle of red wine. From the warm welcome to the attentive service and delicious food, everything was spot on. A solid 10 out of 10.
