We’re still sat in this lovely cafe. The owner Yvonne was sooo lovely and she actually makes the cakes - a rare thing to find these days. And they were delicious. We had a lemon tart and a lemon drizzle and I couldn’t choose a favourite between the two, they were both really good.

Service is consistently on point, professional and friendly enough. Food.. Well, the poached eggs on avocado toast are done properly (easily as good as some 5 star restaurants I've eaten at), and even simple Bakewell Tart is presented with proper fresh cream and a flourish of jus 👌🏻. The chef clearly makes the effort. The Cinnamon Toast is highly recommended (especially with bacon and maple syrup)

Wow! What a wonderful find - enjoyed the most delicious sandwiches and salads for lunch today - lovely staff and left with a fresh loaf of soda bread 💗 Will definitely be back! Well done 👏

Flannery's Bistro

08/12/2025: Been there twice good is good was amazing, hot, tasty, was a bit disappointed as the veg with the meal was a bit tough had difficulty cutting it with a knife, reasonable prices will go again first time I had pasta second time I had pork (veggie was tough)
20/11/2025: The food was very tasty, portions were large, and everything was prepared quickly. The prices are restaurant-level, but definitely worth it! They also have a kids’ menu.

Carney's

16/09/2025: Review from last trip: we loved this palce when we came as a family. The servers were so sweet and attentive compared to a lot of places we tried. I hope they reopen!! Food was good, prices were great. Sept 14, 2024.
