Donadea Forest Cafe in

10/03/2025: Food was just ok nothing special. My scampi was tasty enough but the haddock was bland and the vegetables and champ had no flavour. The view is what makes this place. We were sitting near the desk with the till. The phone was constantly ringing. I asked for Tartar sauce to have with my scampi and before I had the words out the woman on the till had keyed in a charge!? She could hear me requesting it. Server didn't even tell us. Its not the money but the principal. €1.50 for a tiny container of sauce from a squeezy tub. And this on top of the almost €20 for the Scampi. Been years since we had been and I guess it will be another few years before we return.
