Was really surprised about this place. It isn't the sort of restaurant that I would normally go to but my daughter invited us for a meal and I really enjoyed it. From the poppodum starters to the Gosht, Korma, Kerala curries and Naan's it was all excellent. The service was really good as well. I really enjoyed everything about the place and whilst I am probably the last person in Dublin to go there, I would wholeheartedly recommend it

Really excellent Indian, possibly the best in Dublin? Beautiful inside, big windows and lots of space with leather sofas. Very broad selection on the menu and different going beyond the regular Indian dishes but with all the favourites. The depth of flavour in all the dishes were great and there were no duds (there were 8 of us). Large portions so no room for dessert. Good variety of drinks and very good service. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, but the service from our server left us uncomfortable. We visited Doolally for a relaxed weekend lunch. The place wasn’t too busy, and the food was absolutely fantastic — rich flavors, beautifully presented, and truly satisfying. If you’re craving a great Indian meal, this is a top spot. However, the experience was let down by our server, Jakomie (not sure of the spelling). He was curt and disengaged throughout our visit, and at times, his behavior felt subtly discriminatory. It created an awkward atmosphere that didn’t align with the otherwise welcoming vibe of the restaurant. On the positive side, Brendan, who appeared to be the manager, was extremely polite and courteous — a complete contrast and a real credit to the team. We’ll definitely return for the food, but we hope the staff culture becomes more inclusive and respectful to all guests.

We went here recently for a birthday dinner, and while it wasn’t a bad experience, it didn’t quite live up to what we’d hoped for. The starters were really good—full of flavour and well done—but the main course felt quite toned down, more suited to local taste than authentic Indian food. The mocktails were a bit disappointing too. I had mentioned in the booking that it was a birthday celebration, but there was no gesture or acknowledgment from the restaurant, and the table we got was just a regular one. It didn’t feel like anything special, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, I really felt for the waiter. He seemed completely overworked—running around non-stop and clearly doing his best, but barely had time to stop or smile. The place was really busy, and it looked like they were short on staff. Overall, it was okay—some parts were nice, but with better service, a bit more warmth, and more attention to the little details, it could’ve been a lot better.

Great fine dining place with excellent ambience and service, prior booking is recommended. And yes, fine dine restaurants are bit on expensive side. Panneer Tikki Kabab 👎🏻 1 ⭐ - Panneer was very chewey and hard and was very disappointed. Fried Idly 👍🏻 5 ⭐ - it was different and amazing with 2 varieties of chutney as sides. Panneer & Corn Saag 👍🏻 5 ⭐ - was flavourful and taste with right amount of spices. But, was surprised to see the panneer was super soft and amazing in this. Not sure why the Panneer kebab was a downer. Garlic & Chive Naan 👍🏻 5 ⭐ - size was big enough and was soft to eat. Very well made.

I picked this restaurant for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner , the atmosphere and decor were perfect ! we both loved the food (we had the lamb rogan Josh and lamb bhuna gosht ) , my boyfriend says it was the best meal he had in a long time . Silas was an amazing waiter , very professional and friendly with lots of knowledge and good recommendations. We will be back !!

Gran lugar, todo se sintió muy positivo desde el segundo que entramos, el restaurante estaba lleno, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Un entorno cómodo, un personal muy amable. La comida comenzó con popadoms gratuitos y chapuzones generosos y botellas de agua frías ilimitadas. El menú tiene una gran selección ~ elegimos un entrante compartido seguido de platos principales y desiertos y debemos decir que todos eran realmente deliciosos, buenos tamaños de porciones y todo estaba muy sabroso y cocinado a la perfección, sin duda uno de los mejores restaurantes indios que hemos visitado en mucho tiempo y todo a un precio razonable. Un placer comer allí
