Doolin Hostel in

Where do we even begin? We got married at Hotel Doolin a few weeks ago and it was truly the most incredible day of our lives. A very special thank you to Niamh and Tracy. You both were simply amazing throughout the entire planning process and ensuring the day ran smoothly. We are so grateful for all the care, time, and attention you gave us. The day itself was absolutely flawless. Every single member of staff was warm, professional, and so attentive. We never once had to worry about a thing because everything ran so smoothly. It was clear how much effort goes on behind the scenes, and we’re incredibly thankful to every person who played a part in making our day so special. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the wedding. The food has been the number one topic of conversation ever since! So many people have told us it’s the best wedding meal they’ve ever had, which says so much about the quality of the food and the incredible chefs. The service throughout the meal was exceptional, and everyone loved how generous the hospitality was, especially the free-flowing wine, which definitely kept the celebrations going! The baby Guinness prior to heading into the dinner was a lovely touch. Thank you 100 times from Aoife and Ant

Friendly helpful receptionist, house was ready early before ceremony which was handy. Lovely different venue, food was great, lots of wine, great atmosphere. Fitzys bar for breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced. Friendly staff here too. The only negative was that young bar staff members (in 20s) the night of the wedding were unfriendly, indifferent, sour faces on them. Didn't say a word when went to the bar and ordered, they put the drinks on the bar and stuck out the card machine at an angle had to lean over to see how much the drinks were. Given how extortionate the drink prices were this was sour taste in my mouth given how nice the venue and dinner staff were earlier in the night. Self catering houses - comfortable beds, balcony, nice shower. Brown bread wad nice touch. Would definitely visit again.

Attended the doolin folk festival. I have to just stumble upon this festival while I was in town it was fun the entry was expensive 75 and still had to buy your beer. It was fun they had a DJ out side and a folk ban in the barn. Plenty of restrooms and awesome vibe.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at the hotel-we booked into their Suites property next door. The suites are arranged 4 to a building with 2 rooms upstairs featuring a nice deck and 2 on the main level-note you walk upstairs (no elevator) so perhaps stay on first level if stairs are an issue-like if you brought two huge suitcases per person. Our room #18 was very spacious with a good sized bedroom with a king bed, dressing area and living room with a fireplace and a small but functional bathroom with a very nice spacious shower. It seems the suites might be pretty new as we had lots of bedside power ports (USB-C and USB-A) as well as similar setups by the desk area. While I could have used a fluffier pillow, the room was fairly quiet save the nighttime rain on the roof and rambunctious crows in the morning. Parking is right in front of your room door and the room included a nice cooked to order breakfast as well. The property owners also run the nice bakery/cafe, Fitz’s pub and an inviting pizza restaurant in the same set of buildings.

We had our wedding here and Tracey and the team couldn't do enough for us. Everything was incredible.

A wonderful wedding weekend was had at Hotel Doolin. A lovely quaint town where there were some nice old roads for morning 5ks. It was great staying on site and having access to all the different areas
