As a stag group that had been go karting around the corner we decided to go for a pint or 6! What a welcoming place from the staff to the locals, they were great… as was the Guinness and the price! Thanks for having us.

I was there at the weekend for Cheltenham races. It had the great atmosphere. There is a small function room but beside it there is a big lounge area. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Was only in function room, but good pint and the staff were very friendly and attentive, I dropped a couple of stars as they wouldn't let us cut and share the bday cake which I thought was really odd since we did have food. And the decor is very dated. Other than that great night though.

Right in the middle of Ballyfermot a well established pub. We only used the function room but it was a great room to hold parties or other small events . The staff were helpful and friendly. I dropped a star as there are only stairs up to the room ,so it is not viable for disabled people.

Sima Cafe

20/04/2025: Lovely brunch on Easter sunday! Quick service & great food.
05/04/2025: We've been going to Sima since the pandemic began. It was the only place in Donaghmede where we could meet outside safely and it became almost a community hub during that nightmare time. We go there almost every day since then. The staff are so friendly and food is freshly prepared, a rarity these days, delicious and comparitevly cheap. Long may Sima prosper.

15/03/2025: My mother and I had lunch fete on March 14, 2025. She had the kids portion ham and cheese sandwich and I had tre adults scrambled eggs and spelt toast with chillie avocado. It was excellent and the service was great. Blue was very friendly and as attentive as she could be given how busy they were. When she was too busy to respond to our service requests, the lovely Sophia stepped in to grab us some extra water. Blue was also very good during the ordering stage. My mother wanted to make changes after we had ordered, and she accommodated us very politely. Overall, if you're looking for a place to grab a solid bite to eat in Blackrock early in the day this is a great place to go. The atmosphere is busy and a bit loud, but that's part of its charm.
