Lovely bar, male and female bartenders were aloof to customers' needs. More interested in chatting to each other. Disappointing.

Went here recently for a few drinks, the heating was on and the bar was like a sauna which made it very uncomfortable, at one point I went to the bar and was left waiting because there was nobody serving. Both not ideal when it's a Saturday night and the place is hopping!

15/08/2025: I brought my mom for very 1st time to experience Afternoon Tea in Lord Mayor’s Lounge at The Shelbourne hotel. Together with her and also my sister in law and little niece we had amazing experience, everything was delicious, the desserts looks fairytale and taste heavenly, we been completely spoiled by our waitress Karla and lovely Imelda. Thank you so much girls for everything.
18/07/2025: Wonderful high tea experience with my wife and daughter. My wife who is gluten free was accommodated as I gave them a note during booking on OpenTable of her food allergies. The items were as close as possible to the regular (gluten) items. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience and the tea, sandwiches and pastries served were excellent.

21/08/2025: Hugo and Andrea's hospitality at breakfast was magnificent. It's a hotel with good connections to Dublin city center. They only need to renovate the bathrooms, which are a bit dated.
20/08/2025: Really enjoyed this hotel—we had a huge room. It had its own air conditioning, which was important because it happened to be pretty warm during our trip. We loved having breakfast delivered to our room. Our only complaints were: the coffee was really not great and it’s quite away from city center.
